Love Supreme
Love is everything, it is only in the way, and how we define love that sets it's limitations.
As I perceive it, Love is the key to all of creation. That here in our universe, all living things and man, are not self-existing entities, but the artifacts of God, the Supreme Creator. We are all created by Him and to Him we will all return. Love, not knowledge (intellectual), is the bond between God and man. From God's love proceeds only what is good, and even when He allows us to experience the harsh disciplines of life, This kind of tough love is also inherently good. God's omnipotence is not merely infinite in time, but also in intensity. Most religions today all seek a higher good, when their pride and arrogance is not standing in the way. Religion is little more than child's game, that our Creator is more than willing to play along with us. Your heart, Your heart, Your heart, and the love you choose to feed or starve it with, is all that matters to the Master of the Matrix. I don't think the word (creation) really hit home with most people. Like how did something come from nothing?
We can't be all religions at the same time but it is important that we respect the faiths of others, like this traumatised son of the Great Spirit. Indian Boarding School Life has been a tragedy for so many, and yet we are all students, from cradle to grave in the divine school of higher learning.
"But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it were profitable for him that a great millstone had been hanged upon his neck and he be sunk in the depths of the sea."
Who are we to judge the faith of another, or crush a child's spirit in the name of God? I am not religious, but I wish more people would take those words to heart.
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Sois ma Valentine:
True Love, is indeed the most wonderful of all feelings in this world.
I wish you, lots & lots & lots & lots of bunnies!
I always gave a valentine to my mother, this song (The Zimmers,) made me think of her. She would have liked it.

Open Your Mind
Could we be living inside of God? I wish I were this smart, but this only the research of other brilliant minds.
Isn't it amazing that scientists have finally had to admit that the design of the universe is so perfectly crafted so as to indicate intelligent design and yet they still try to avoid any explanation which includes the word God.
The multiverse theory has spawned another - that our universe is a simulation, writes Paul Davies.
If you've ever thought life was actually a dream, take comfort. Some pretty distinguished scientists may agree with you. Philosophers have long questioned whether there is in fact a real world out there, or whether "reality" is just a figment of our imagination. Please check this out, Unlocking You 2, Above Self Actualization.
Then along came the quantum physicists, who unveiled an Alice-in-Wonderland realm of atomic uncertainty, where particles can be waves and solid objects dissolve away into ghostly patterns of quantum energy.
Now cosmologists have got in on the act, suggesting that what we perceive as the universe might in fact be nothing more than a gigantic simulation.
The story behind this bizarre suggestion began with a vexatious question: why is the universe so bio-friendly? Cosmologists have long been perplexed by the fact that the laws of nature seem to be cunningly concocted to enable life to emerge. Take the element carbon, the vital stuff that is the basis of all life. It wasn't made in the big bang that gave birth to the universe. Instead, carbon has been cooked in the innards of giant stars, which then exploded and spewed soot around the universe.
The process that generates carbon is a delicate nuclear reaction. It turns out that the whole chain of events is a damned close run thing, to paraphrase Lord Wellington. If the force that holds atomic nuclei together were just a tiny bit stronger or a tiny bit weaker, the reaction wouldn't work properly and life may never have happened.
The late British astronomer Fred Hoyle was so struck by the coincidence that the nuclear force possessed just the right strength to make beings like Fred Hoyle, he proclaimed the universe to be "a put-up job". Since this sounds a bit too much like divine providence, cosmologists have been scrambling to find a scientific answer to the conundrum of cosmic bio-friendliness.
The General Uncertainty Principle
This idea that if we would never be able to tell if we were living in a simulated universe would appear to have profound implications for science. We would never be able to tell if our observations were real, or merely simulated. This result can be summed-up simply in one statement which I'm calling the General Uncertainty Principle: We can never know anything for certain.
David Deutsch appeared well-aware of this drastic implication when he said: "From the point of view of science it's a catastrophic idea, the purpose of science is to understand reality. If we're living in a virtual reality we are forever barred from understanding nature." (quote taken from here).
Many scientists believe the simulated universe theory should be rejected because it fails Occam's Razor which suggests that the simpler of two theories should be preferred (if the two theories give the same predictions). On this basis, the simulated universe theory should be rejected because it gives precisely the same predictions of what we would experience if the universe was not being simulated (hence, there is no need to introduce the extra complication of the simulated universe theory).
But this type of objection matters not one jot. The unavoidable truth still remains: if we were living in a simulated universe, we would never be able to detect it.
This General Uncertainty Principle ("We can never know anything for certain") reflects an all-encompassing uncertainty about every aspect of our world. This all-inclusive nature of the principle means it has must enclose the existing uncertainty principles such as Gödel's Theorem (described on the Mathematical Universe page), and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle from quantum mechanics (described on the Quantum Mechanics: An Introduction page). The General Uncertainty Principle represents a much wider uncertainty about absolutely everything in existence!
(The General Uncertainty Principle is a consequence of external world skepticism).

128 killed in Australia.
Death toll soars as Australia bushfire devastates Victoria
The wildfires have devastated swaths of
southeastern Australia [AFP]
At least 128 people are now known to have been killed in the deadliest wildfires ever to sweep Australia, officials have said.
Police and a Department of Sustainability and Environment spokesman in the state of Victoria gave the latest death toll early on Monday, but there were fears it could rise as emergency crews search more than 700 houses destroyed in the flames.
Many people are believed to have died in their cars as they tried to escape the fires.
Arsonists are being held responsible for starting some of the blazes, which are sweeping across an area of about 3,000 sq km across three states.
"These people are terrorists within our nation, they are the enemy within and we have to be increasingly vigilant about them," Mike Rann, the governor of South Australia state, said on Sunday.
At least 20 per cent of the fires in South Australia state were started by arsonists and another 20 per cent were the result of "stupidity or negligence," Rann said.
Arsonists were also relighting fires that had been brought under control, a fire authority official in Victoria said.

The Criminal Federal Reserve System
As our outlaw government and it's controller the Federal Reserve, continues to fabricate billions, and trillions in counterfeit script, the results of greed and rampant capitalism the destroyer of nations.
Mothers cry, as their children go hungry, and the world sinks deeper and deeper into abject poverty. You think Obama has come to save the day? Think again, for he is part of the system, little more than just another agent working for those who have the real power.
The Ultimate American Dollar Collapse
I love you people, But This U.S. Economy is Unsustainable
The truth about your money
None Dare Call It Fascism:
A Rose by Any Other Name
As Ludwig von Mises observed,1 Fascism, Nazism, and Socialism are varying versions of the same core conviction: that it is the sacred duty of popular government to prevent the emergence of profits by public control of production and distribution.
What distinguishes Fascism and Nazism from Socialism in economic theory is how they translate "public control" into reality.
For the socialist, it means outright nationalization-government ownership-of private business. In a socialist state, the government owns and operates the airlines, railroads, banks, phone companies, and any other business you can think of. Everyone is an employee of the State.
For the fascist, public or government control is just that-control, rather than nationalized ownership, via complete bureaucratic regulation of ostensibly private business.
As an ardent admirer of Marx, Mussolini coined the term "Fascism"2 for his brand of authoritarian, patriotic Marxism. Fascism operates under the principle of "might makes right," through the exercise of raw, naked governmental police power.
In America today, the increasingly rough-shod violation of constitutional rights by government agents in the name of "protecting the environment" or the "war on drugs" is an indication of how far we are proceeding in this direction.
Intellectually, fascism is far more dishonest than socialism, which at least has the courage to assert legal ownership of the economy and thus assume the legal responsibility for its functioning.
Fascism places the responsibility for the economy on business, which is rendered seemingly private, with the facade of private ownership. The result of both socialism and fascism is the same: the destruction of economic freedom, replacing the individual's choice of how to make a peaceful, honest living with state edicts. Fascism accomplishes this, however, more insidiously.
Instead of being a straightforward employee of the government, you and I are told that our lives and businesses are still private, while any attempt to act as such is proscribed by a myriad of regulations-until we are trapped and immobilized in Washington's web.
We become enmeshed in this web because it has been spun around us so slowly-strand by strand over many years-so slowly that we have barely noticed. We could call this slow spinning of the fascist web "Fabian Fascism."
(Advocacy of what became known as Fabian Socialism was in vogue in the early part of the 20th century, particularly among British socialists such as Sydney and Beatrice Webb and George Bernard Shaw. They argued that socialism could best be achieved by "not frightening the horses"; that is, not through immediate revolutionary action, but in small, incremental steps.)3 Since the gargantuan growth of governmental power in the United States has not been sudden, but slowly accumulative, we can accurately and aptly call the process "Fabian Fascism."
Manufactured Crises
Dictators have traditionally created external crises to consolidate internal power. People are then freely willing to trade freedom for security. The great discovery in recent times is that social crises can be just as effective as military ones. "Curing poverty," or a "war on drugs" has become the banner under which the government can increase budgets, create new bureaucracies, and obtain new powers over the people.
But there is a big difference between an excuse and a purpose. These excuses are simply convenient subterfuges to trick the American people into letting the Washington Oligarchy expand its power.
All of these crises offered one, and only one, type of solution to the alleged crisis: vast government programs at taxpayers' expense. If problems were actually solved, all these government programs and bureaucrats wouldn't be needed. Thus, the crises must be perpetual, never solved, always requiring another program, another intervention, more taxpayers' money, more authorities granted, etc.
The game is not to solve the problems but to use them to control people through regulations and subsidies, increasing their dependency upon the people writing and enforcing the regulations and providing the handouts. People who are dependent upon you are people who vote for you.
Democratic Fascism
The result is a form of fascist rule imposed upon a citizenry, not by a dictator who seized power by force, but by freely elected leaders. We could call it Democratic Fascism, whereby a people's freedom is not taken away from them by dictatorial force, but is voluntarily surrendered.
Americans have imposed the tyranny of Washington upon ourselves. By a patient Fabian strategy taking many years, the American people have been persuaded, unwittingly and almost unconsciously, to voluntarily chain themselves to their masters in Washington.
No longer innocently oppressed, America has become a nation of belligerent beggars, demanding with insufferable arrogance an endless cornucopia of government handouts, subsidies, and "entitlements," deferring the multi-trillion dollar tab upon our children and grandchildren.
This is, indeed, America's real drug crisis: the most addictive and destructive drug ever invented, industrial-welfare and special interest subsidies. Thus we have voluntarily taken upon ourselves the tyranny of our increasingly fascist state.
And much of the blame also needs to be laid on our silent pulpits. The same abrogation of responsibility that contributed to the Holocaust in Germany is evident in America.
I believe that our stewardship of our unique God-given heritage is one for which we will uniquely be held accountable.
Our Future
One of the most critical strategic assessments we each must make is regarding the feasibility of rolling back to a constitutional government.
If we have a government that doesn't obey the Constitution, we have an outlaw government-literally acting outside the law.

Namaste!
Namaste` to all.
A very dear friend always addressed me with that Greeting. I knew not at first what was its great significance, now I do.
Namaste` is indeed very special!
It has been very cold down here! I hope you all are keeping warm.
I'm finished ranting and raving over a friends low opinion of herself. I just want to make it clear that God carries no vendetta against women. Only men do. We men want our God to have a very large Penis and a biggest set of Balls to match. Sorry, God is God! And is often more of a Mother than a Father to us all. You could not ask for a more ideal single parent.
It is time for you my people, my tribe; to become Rainbow Warriors!

The Nigger of the World
John Lennon - "Woman is"
And he said, Woe to you also, ye lawyers, for ye load the people with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
Woe unto you, the doctors of the law, for ye have taken away the key of knowledge; yourselves have not entered in, and those who were entering in ye have hindered.
One would think that if the Christian religion were the true faith, they should have learned something from their greatest rabbi. To have the audacity to place the origin of sin, on the shoulders of every woman is an abomination, and the greatest injustice the world has ever known.
God has no religion! This is what enlightened Abraham, and it pleased God once he understood. For Abraham's enlightenment broke down the great religious wall between God and the seed of Adam. Freely and in perfect understanding they walked together, until the vanity of man rebuilt the wall of shame. For all the ages woman has been crushed under the heel of man's false dogma, is it not time that the truth be known?
My dearest daughters of Zion; know ye not that you are to be
the Lightworkers?

What Do You Think?
This is part of a conversation that I found to be most interesting:
How should we relate to our parents? Honor and respect aside. Do we owe them like my mother said; for raising us? The following may give some of you pause for thought.
'Not sure what you mean when you say 'the codes' but me and my mom are like a never ending story. A therapist friend once told me, as I was describing my relationship with my mom, that it was crazy-making because I was running on two separate realities: on the surface, mom was dedicated, and put us at the center of her life. But we had to walk a very fine line not to be in her shithouse. I knew how to walk that line and got a lot of surface approval, but felt a TON of internalized disapproval, because it was really negative conditioning ("don't do this or mom will..."). I got good grades in school and was self-sufficient as a kid (read constantly, didn't cause too much trouble) but as I became a teenager, attempts to express myself as I pleased did not go over so well. Imagine how little miss iconoclast Aquarius rising punk rock high schooler managed being raised Mormon! I actually left home for two months at age 15 due to a major dust-up with mom and refused to come back unless she'd let me stay home from church. She agreed, but watched me like a hawk til I went to college. We have since made peace -- I was always the family-appointed Sane Child-peacemaker -- and I owe her so much of my success now as a grown up writer chick in the big city. But it was a struggle, man.'
My reply: 'You owe her what?'
Alexandra replies:
"Haha! I was just rereading my reply and thought you might jump on that. Her example was a lot of it: she started what has turned out to be an oddly-recession-proof business out of good taste and thin air, and she showed me how to do that every day (she worked out of home so we witnessed her whole career as kids, and I used to come with her on appointments after school). She wears her expertise comfortably -- which was a good example to me, who makes a living by expressing expertise in a breezy enough manner to be palatable to magazine readers. She paid for my private high school education and college when she could not afford it. She really raised all of us to feed our brains. She's compassionate, articulate, has a ton of backbone (ha! irony!), integrity, etc. And was always very vocal about the importance of those things -- they became core values for me too. So in a lot of ways, she laid the groundwork for me to do what I do now by her example and just by being a hardworking mom. That said, when I first told her I wanted to be a writer, she said, "are you sure? That's a really hard career path." 'Oh well. I showed her'.
`Also, I'm feeling extra indebted to both my parents after my dad's death, and one of my reactions to it is, appreciate mom as much as you can while she's still alive to hear it.`
"Okay: appreciate, say thank you, give her a big hug, go forth and be happy, right? In my view, we don't owe our parents our success, or our lives. We're not their property, or their vassals, or their surrogates, nor is our destiny their business. This post was a little too long, I doubt many will take the time to read it.
I think it is a mistake and a sure ticket for guilt trips and power struggles if parents are convinced that their children owe, or that they should somehow pay us back for the upbringing we have given them. While I hope that if I have children they will want to stay connected with me and that we will always be a family who looks after and cares for each other. It would not be good for my kids if I were to lay this kind of a trip on them about how I expect them to pay me back. It is best that we not be remembered as a dictator, even though it can be tempting for us to expect our children to live their lives to pay us back in some way.
They hopefully do their best as parents, and get out of the way -- or we learn to get out of their way and move on, as you seem to have done. But that Aquarius Moon rising is a kind of a warning that unless you take over the process of running your own life every day, mom's presence will loom large all the time".

Something I just said, and I stand by it!
The evil that men do, seems inherent that they first turn to religion to justify their heinous deeds. By the norms of his many followers, Hitler was considered to be a very devout old fashioned Christian, a true defender of the faith. The simple lesson of Abraham has been lost upon all the generations! That one can walk and talk, sharing a covenant directly with the Creator. In a way that requires no heavy bondage of religion, or it's dogma, written by blind and worldly philosophers to hinder your path. No two walks are the same; we each have to establish our own personal relationship, an open heart is all you need.
"Ideas..." wrote John Maynard Keynes, "when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood.... Practical men, who believe themselves... exempt from any intellectual influences, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist....The power of vested interests is vastly exaggerated compared with the gradual encroachment of ideas."
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED
I got this in my e-mail, perhaps you did too, but I thought I would share it today with all my friends.
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.
As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.
Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from t he garden hose and NOT from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because,
WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day.And we were O.K.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes After running into the bushes a few times, we le arned to solve the problem.
We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms........
WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.
We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not poke out very many eyes.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!
Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team.. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!
The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.
We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!
If YOU are one of them CONGRATULATIONS!
You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good .

Aerial Phenomena 1*
This opening page is old news, but it goes to show why our government no longer reports U.F.O's. They have no way of defending us against these illegal aliens.
I came to earth in the middle of one of the biggest UFO flaps in history.
I have seen so many myself, that I think nothing of it anymore. What you are about to read, are just a few of what our government is willing to officially admit are real unexplained events.
"Impossible is a word only to be found in the dictionary of fools." - Napoleon
The harbinger of the flap, the mysterious and still unexplained green fireballs appeared, primarily over New Mexico, observed by many scientists in November 1951, just before the colossal 1952 sighting wave began. Also notable in these events is the concentration over sensitive military and scientific installations in New Mexico. This fact was commented upon in at least two Air Force documents (Hall, 1988, p. 200). One, an OSI report from New Mexico in 1950, expressed concern about “the continued occurrence of unexplained phenomena of this nature in the vicinity of sensitive installations.” During the 1958–1960 trough (see Table 3), there were an unusual number of “blatant display” cases for this early period of UFO history. Though the displays were not unprecedented, they did not become more common until much later. They were unusual for that time:
July 21, 1952; San Marcos AFB, Texas. 10:40 p.m. Witnesses: one Lieutenant, two Staff Sergeants, three airmen. One blue circle with a blue trail was seen to hover and then accelerate to near-sonic speed (700+ m.p.h.) after 1 minute.
July 21, 1952; Converse, Texas. 4:30 p.m. Witness: wife of USAF Capt. J. B. Neal. One elongated, fuselage-shaped object flew straight and level, made a right-angle turn and went out of sight at more than 300 m.p.h., all in 3-5 seconds.
July 21, 1952; Rockville, Indiana. 8:10 p.m. Witnesses: one military officer, two enlisted men. One aluminum, delta-shaped object with a vertical fin, flew straight and level, and then hovered during a 3 minute sighting.
July 22, 1952; Los Alamos, New Mexico. 10:50 a.m. Witnesses: control tower operator Don Weins, and two pilots for Carco. Eight large, round, bright aluminum objects flew straight and level, then darted around erratically during 25 minutes.
July 22, 1952; Uvalde, Texas. 2:46 p.m. Witness: Don Epperly, Trans Texas Airlines station manager and weather observer. One large, round, silver object flew at more than 1,000 m.p.h. for 45 seconds, while gyrating.
July 22, 1952; between Boston and Provincetown, Massachusetts. 10:47 p.m. Witnesses: pilot and radar operator of USAF F-94 jet interceptor. One round blue light passed F-94, spinning.
July 22, 1952; Trenton, New Jersey. 10:50 p.m. t.o 12:45 a.m., July 23. Witnesses: crews of several USAF F-94 jet interceptors from Dover AFB, Del. Thirteen visual sightings and one radar tracking of blue-white lights during two hours.
July 23, 1952; Pottstown, Pennsylvania. 8:40 a.m. Witnesses: the two-man crews of three USAF F-94 jet interceptors. One large silver object, shaped like a long pear with two or three squares beneath it, flew at 150-180 kts. (170-210 m.p.h.), while a smaller object, delta-shaped or swept back, flew around it at 1,000-1,500 kts. (1,150-1,700 m.p.h.). Seen by crews for 1-4 minutes.
July 23, 1952; Altoona, Pennsylvania. 12:50 p.m. Witnesses: two-man crews of two USAF F-94 jet interceptors at 35-46,000' altitude. Three cylindrical objects in a vertical stack formation flew at an altitude of 50-80,000'. Seen for 20 minutes.
July 23, 1952; South Bend, Indiana. 11:35 p.m. Witness: USAF pilot Capt. H. W. Kloth. Two bright blue-white objects flew together, then the rear one veered off after about 9 minutes.
July 24, 1952; Carson Sink, Nevada. 3:40 p.m. Witnesses: two USAF Lt. Colonels McGinn and Barton in a B-25 bomber. Three silver, delta-shaped objects, each with a ridge along the top, crossed in front of and above the B-25 at high speed, in 3-4 seconds.
July 26, 1952; Washington, D.C. 8 p.m. until after midnight. Witnesses: radar operators at several airports, airline pilots. Many unidentified blips tracked by radar all over Washington area, at varying speeds. Pilots spotted unidentified lights.
July 26, 1952; Kansas City, Missouri. 12:15 a.m. Witnesses: USAF Capt. H. A. Stone, men in control towers at Fairfax Field and Municipal Airport. One greenish light with red-orange flashes was seen for 1 hour as it descended in the northwest from 40* elevation to 10* elevation.
July 26, 1952; Andrews AFB, Maryland. This was a continuation of the extensive sightings and radar tracking reports reported throughout the Washington, D.C. area, all night long.
July 26, 1952; Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. 12:05 a.m. Witness: Airman lst Class J.M. Donaldson. Eight to ten orange balls in a triangular or V-formation flew very fast for 3-4 seconds.
July 26, 1952; Williams, California. Case missing from official files.
Must have been a good one!
July 27, 1952; Selfridge AFB, Michigan. 10:05 a.m. Witnesses: three B-29 bomber crewmen on ground. Many round, white objects flew straight and level, very fast. Two at 10:05, one at 10:10, one at 10:15, one at 10:20. Each was seen for about 30 seconds.
July 28, 1952; Heidelberg, West Germany. 10:20 p.m. Witnesses: Sgt. B.C. Grassmoen, WAC Pfc. A.P. Turner. One saucer-shaped object having an appearance of light metal and giving off shafts of white light, flew slow, made a 90^ turn and climbed away fast after 4-5 minutes.
July 28, 1952; McGuire AFB, New Jersey. 6 a.m. Witness: Ground Control Approach radar operator M/Sgt. W.F. Dees, and persons in the base control tower. Radar tracked a large cluster of very distinct blips. Visual observation was of oblong objects having neither wings nor tail, which made a very fast turn and at one time were in echelon formation. Entire episode lasted 55 minutes.
July 28, 1952; McChord AFB, Washington. 2:15 a.m. Witnesses: T/Sgt. Walstead, S/Sgt. Calkins of the 635th AC&W Squadron. One dull, glowing, blue-green ball,.the size of a dime at arms' length, flew very fast, straight and level.
July 29, 1952; Osceola, Wisconsin. 1:30 a.m. Witnesses: radar operators on ground, pilot of F-5l Mustang in flight. Several clusters of up to 10 small radar targets and one large target. Small targets moved from southwest to east at 50-60 kts. (60-70 m.p.h.), following each other. The large one moved at 600 kts. (700 m.p.h.). One hour total time. Pilot confirmed one target.
July 29, 1952; Langley AFB, Virginia. 2:30 p.m. Witness: USAF Capt D.G. Moore, of military air traffic control system. One undescribed object flew at an estimated 2,600 m.p.h., below 5,000' altitude, toward the air base for about 2 minutes.
July 29, 1952; Langley AFB, Virginia. 2:50 p.m. Witnesses: Mr. Moore, Gilfillan electronics representative W. Yhope. One radar target tracked moving away, stopped for 2 minutes, again moved very, very fast. Four minutes.
July 29, 1952; Wichita, Kansas. 12:35 p.m. Witnesses: USAF shop employees Douglas and Hess at Municipal Airport. One bright white circular object with a flat bottom flew very fast, and then hovered 10-15 seconds over the Cessna Aircraft Co. plant, during the 5 minute sighting.
July 29, 1952; Ennis, Montana. 12:30 p.m. Witnesses: USAF persons, alerted that UFOs were coming from the direction of Seattle, Wash. Two to five flat disc-shaped objects: one hovered 3-4 minutes, while the others circled it. Sighting length of 30 minutes not explained further.
A large number of Air Force officers at Strategic Air Command headquarters at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, in 1958 observed a cigar-shaped UFO with satellite objects.

THE SEEDS WE SOW ALONG THE WAY
Friends, the following is a modified letter I intended to write for Robin Easton: As I began it soon morphed into something more worthy of a post. Although much of it had to be changed, the facts about this wonderful lady are still the same.
As with many of you whom I hold in my highest esteem, our Robin is a very animated apostle of life; always sowing the good seeds of wisdom and love, wherever she goes. Often we never see the results of the good seeds we plant, here are but two of the thousands she has planted. The first was the seed of friendship, when she honored me with her friendship, I began to pay attention to everything she said: Like this little gift from the seed of wisdom -("I like this site because it raises some very important questions which make me think. It has a (Gooolge Translator) on it that translate the articles into many many languages"). Yes, without this precious little seed of knowledge, Goolge Translator was something that would have never entered my mind. I know this may not seem like much, but armed with this gift, I was able to aid a very compassionate lady trapped by a language barrier, Now everyone can understand the terrible plight she is so concerned with.
Thank you Robin; you are a real friend indeed!
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

We
I'm not an Opra person, but as your servant, I'm always seeking new ways to make life a little better, even if it is old news.
( Oprah.com) -- The demands of work, family, and daily life can leave your days feeling short and stressed. But what if you could find more hours in the day, and make yourself happier at the same time? The experts say it's not only possible, it's easier than you think!
Tell a joke
Seriously: Hearing someone else laugh triggers a response in areas of your brain related to smiling, according to research from University College, London.
Pull out a photo album
A survey conducted by a British psychologist queried subjects about their mood before and after they ate chocolate, drank wine, listened to music, and gazed at photos of loved ones. Only the photos gave a noticeable lift -- an 11 percent improvement.
Be affectionate with your partner
Don't Miss
How to be wildly successful
Jump off the fence
Time to pursue your passion
A study from the University of North Carolina found that women who got several hugs a day from their husbands had significantly lower blood pressure than those embraced less often. Another study using fMRIs showed women's brains to be far less reactive to the threat of mild electrical shock when holding a loved one's hand versus a stranger's.
Ask an office mate how she's doing
A recent study from Spain found that professional support -- including a good relationship with co-workers -- will help make your job far more satisfying and absorbing.
If you are overscheduled and underrested, here's how to get seven more hours in your day:
Handle things once -- (saves 15 to 20 minutes)
When it comes to e-mail, voice mail, or paperwork, take instant action -- i.e., read, answer, delete, file -- so you don't have to come back to it. The accumulated time saved can add up to ten hours a month, says Jana Kemp, a Boise, Idaho, "time architect" and the author of "No! How One Simple Word Can Transform Your Life."
Make good use of waiting time -- (30 minutes)
Don't go to the doctor without taking something to do --work papers to read, stamped notecards to catch up on correspondence -- advises Laura Stack, author of "Find More Time." Bring a book or magazine to the bank; pay bills while on hold with a credit card company.
Think "half-time" -- (30 minutes)
Arrange a carpool for your child's ballet class or soccer practice, Stack suggests (that way, you'll cut driving time by at least half). Wear a wireless headset so you can water plants or pick up toys as you talk on the phone. And, whether you're cooking chili or baking cookies, make a double batch, freezing what you don't use.
Be decisive and move on --(up to 60 minutes)
Every minute spent waffling can slow down your ability to take action, says Kemp. For example, rather than spending six hours researching the best round-trip airfare deal -- only to save $25 in the end -- give yourself 45 minutes to comparison price shop, then make a decision.
Lighten up on your cleaning standards (30 to 45 minutes).
Aiming for "dirt removal" versus "perfectly spotless" can free up a lot of time. "In my house, I wipe down the stall after showering instead of doing a big thorough scrub every week," says Stack. "Consider washable throw rugs rather than carpets that need constant steam-cleaning, and change the heating and cooling system filters quarterly to cut down on dust."
Write it down -- (60 minutes)
Constantly cycling through a to-do list in your mind hinders productivity and creativity, says Klein. Carry a pad or BlackBerry and jot down what's got to get done, clearing your mind so you can come up with work solutions and new ideas more quickly.
Turn off technology during your high-energy time -- (90 minutes)
Pinpoint the time of day when you are at your freshest, and remove all distractions, says Klein: For example, route all calls to voice mail and avoid your e-mail inbox. You'll be much more productive.
Monitor time-sapping addictions -- (60 minutes)
According to the latest American Time Use Survey by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 the average U.S. citizen watched 2.6 hours of television a day.
"Reducing your television-watching time by five hours a week adds up to 11 extra days a year," says Stack, who also suggests setting a timer (no more than 60 minutes) for Internet surfing.

My Stand
I wrote this to a fellow blogger, it sums up much of how I feel about dogma and religion.
Once G-d and man walked together in perfect understanding and harmony. Alas until man invented and began to worship religion,
ever since G-d has had to take a back seat to man's dogma, as we murdered and made war over our idolatrous pagan differences. Deaths as a result of human ideologies have numbered in the hundreds of millions.
G-d does not endorse religion, He tolerates it for our sake. It is only the nature of what that is in your heart the very essence of your soul, that is of G-d's concern. G-d is in and all around us, if but only we could see. No matter in what tradition or religion you may find yourself; G-d knows all those who are His.
Love is all you need.
Some of you may wonder why I write God as G-d? It is out of respect for my friends who feel they must write it that way.
Judaism does not prohibit writing the Name of God per se; it prohibits only erasing or defacing a Name of God. However, observant Jews avoid writing any Name of God casually because of the risk that the written Name might later be defaced, obliterated or destroyed accidentally or by one who does not know better.
The commandment not to erase or deface the name of God comes from Deut. 12:3. In that passage, the people are commanded that when they take over the promised land, they should destroy all things related to the idolatrous religions of that region, and should utterly destroy the names of the local deities. Immediately afterwards, we are commanded not to do the same to our God. From this, the rabbis inferred that we are commanded not to destroy any holy thing, and not to erase or deface a Name of God.
It is worth noting that this prohibition against erasing or defacing Names of God applies only to Names that are written in some kind of permanent form, and recent rabbinical decisions have held that writing on a computer is not a permanent form, thus it is not a violation to type God's Name into a computer and then backspace over it or cut and paste it, or copy and delete files with God's Name in them. However, once you print the document out, it becomes a permanent form. That is why observant Jews avoid writing a Name of God on web sites like this one or in newsgroup messages: because there is a risk that someone else will print it out and deface it.
The earliest written form of the Germanic word god comes from the 6th century Christian Codex Argenteus. My question is; why do my brothers, take the word so seriously, or bother to use it, when they have so many other more proper names for God? The most important name of God in Judaism is the Tetragrammaton, the four-letter name of God. This name is first mentioned in the book of Genesis and is usually translated by the Christians as 'the Lord'. Because Jews have, for a long period of time, considered it blasphemy to pronounce, the correct pronunciation of this name has been forgotten. WHAT?? See what too much religion can do! How embarrassing it would be, if I forgot the name of my father, or mother.
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

Going Nowhere
Lena Zavaroni sings Going Nowhere:
When a person sings from their soul, they become part of song. This is a rare talent that only a few singers ever achieve, it is said that Judy Garland had it, even Elvis could do it with some songs. Alas, these wonderful people seem to die young. I remember well I cried a bitter tear, when the enrapturing voice of Caren Carpenter was silenced by anorexia.
Lena Zavaroni (November 4, 1963 - October 1, 1999), was a Scottish child singer and a television show host. With her album Ma! He's Making Eyes At Me at ten years of age, she is the youngest person in history to have an album in UK album chart top ten. Later in life she hosted tv shows and appeared on stage. She died at the age of 35 from a botched operation, after a long battle with anorexia nervosa.

Live Long and Prosper
Welcome to the New Year!
This will be a cheap, but cool post, (I need to go to bed), so I will let the good rabbi do all the work for me.
The Jewish Origin of the Vulcan Salute

Leonard Nimoy felt that there should be some kind of distinctive greeting among Vulcans, analogous to a handshake or a bow. Alan Dean Foster's novelization, based on an early script, has Spock kneeling before the Vulcan matriarch, T'Pau, who places her hands on his shoulders, like royalty dubbing a knight. But Nimoy didn't care for this. Previous episodes had already established that Vulcans are touch telepaths. Therefore, a touch on the shoulders would be an invasion of privacy. Instead, Nimoy drew upon his own Jewish background to suggest the now-familiar salute. Back in the 1960s, hippies who watched "Amok Time" thought the salute was a variation of the two-fingered peace sign. But we Jews knew better. The Vulcan salute came not from protest marches, but from the pulpit of Nimoy's childhood synagogue.
The Vulcan greeting is based upon a blessing gesture used by the kohanim (koe-hah-NEEM) during the worship service. The kohanim are the genealogical descendants of the Jewish priests who served in the Jerusalem Temple. Modern Jews no longer have priests leading services as in ancient times, nor do we have animal sacrifices anymore. (Yes, people really do ask about that!) The sacrificial system ended with the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in the year 70. C.E. However, a remnant of the Temple service lives on in the "kohane blessing" ritual (duchenen in Yiddish) that is performed on certain holy days.

Writing as Illusion
I am not a writer, perhaps in a few years I will be. Until then, you are welcome to study with me: This is part of what I have been reading today.
Daryll Anderson. Writing as Illusion:
Traditional literary aesthetics can clarify the murky status of originality and honesty in nonfiction. Analyses that specifically apply to poetry and fiction apply equally well to ordinary expository prose, though people rarely apply them. Many aids to writing recommend originality and honesty in essays, and many readers try to evaluate essays by these criteria, but true originality and honesty do not fit in good writing. At the same time, writing must appear original and honest. This illusion the writer controls through a conventional literary persona.

Behind Enemy Lines
Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel . . . And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for "the universal brotherhood of man" - with his mouth.
Mark Twain
All men are brothers, like the seas throughout the world; So why do winds and waves clash so fiercely everywhere?
Emperor Hirohito
Israel, the beleaguered island in a hostile sea. In this world of grave violence and hate, is it any wonder that so many feel they are living behind enemy lines?
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
I keep Von Goethe to remind me there is nothing new under the sun. That liberty and wisdom cannot be inherited. Like our Founders, we must make that Declaration of Independence for ourselves and take a stand for our self-declared, self-evident, inalienable rights.

Post-Holiday Blues
After the usual holiday celebrations, I have often found myself feeling a bit depressed and lethargic. This big old house becomes much too quiet; when all my friends and family have returned to their homes.
In trying to recreate those fond memories from childhood events, it is not uncommon that we end the holiday season with a sense of letdown. As we tend to long for the protected carefree days of our youth. This is probably due to our unrealistic expectation that holiday events can provide us with lasting happiness despite the fact that we know deep down it is impossible for us to be happy all the time.
Even the happiest of people feel blue at times, it is only natural. What is more, feeling blue can actually be good for you. Mild to moderate doses of negative experience can be very beneficial to our growth and development. Studies have shown that animals that were moderately stressed when young fared better as adults in recovering from stress. Difficult situations have made them more resilient by giving them opportunities to practice bouncing back from traumatic events. Studies of people who have undergone life-altering trauma reveal a similar resiliency. Those who lose their limbs to devastating accidents tend to bounce back in due time. One study found that those who were injured in accidents felt severely angry and victimized after the first week. However, after 8 weeks, most revealed that happiness was their strongest emotion—a situation that demonstrates how adaptable the human mind can be. It also suggests that happiness is not necessarily tied to circumstance, but to the “interpretation” we give to that circumstance.
By the same token, fortunate events can trigger intense happiness, but this state of intense happiness is never lasting. Study after study shows that happiness is not founded on what is normally considered marks of prestige or pleasure. Money (and all that money can buy) does not contribute to lasting happiness. Neither does a good education or youth. In fact, older people (who have probably developed more resilience) seem on the whole to be more satisfied with life than young people are.
Studies also show that those who are spiritually and communally involved tend to experience more frequently positive emotions and an overall sense of satisfaction with life. What accentuates this satisfaction is the sense of purpose and larger context that spiritual beliefs provide.
So what can you do to improve your happiness quotient, especially after the holidays?
1. Eliminate the either/or mentality that insists you are either happy or sad. This rigid either /or perception does not make room for the flexibility required to see joy in unhappy events. Even the most tragic of events can be a source of good and it is this insistence that you see good in all situations, even the most disastrous ones, that will predispose you to experience joy. In my case, I see the empty house as an opportunity for new growth through meditation and cleaning up the mess.
2. Move away from the victim mentality. You tend to grieve more intensely when you are unwilling to let go of yourself as victim. If you can shift away from being victimized, you can be in a much better position to see how the situation can also be a source of good. Remaining flexible in your perception is the key to resilience.
3. Cultivate an awareness of the silent witness—that is, taking a third party view of yourself. Imagine you as someone watching your "self" from a third party perspective. Detaching yourself from your ego can give you a totally different view of your situation.
4. Nurture a sense of history and time in the way you look at yourself—that is, identify a purpose in your life and develop strategies to achieve it. This purpose will make you more proactive in the way you view your situation. It will also allow you to engage in long-term vision and goals. Oprah Winfrey once said that it was her extreme devastation at age 16(the victim of family abuse) that made her vow she would never be victim again. And she was never victim again; in fact, what is remarkable about Oprah is that she has not stopped re-inventing herself and the contexts of her purpose in life.
Ultimately, our happiness quotient is dependent not on how much we get, but how much we give. The way we see the context of our lives as a whole is often a good place to examine how and what we can give back to our community and the universe that nurtured us.
Please don't give me credit, I only posted this because I care, and it is in agreement with all my past experience and training.
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Scientists to Make Cows Fart Like Kangaroos to Cool the Planet
What do I know? It could be true:
We’re guessing that headline caught your attention! (YES, YOU COULD SAY THAT)
Cow farts are a source of greenhouse gases, while kangaroo farts are methane free thanks to a particular bacteria in their stomachs. Now, in a bizarre twist of science-reality, scientists from Australia are trying to neutralize cow-produced methane by transferring that kangaroo bacteria to cattle and sheep’s guts. According to the government of Queensland, almost 14% of all greenhouse gas emissions from Australia come from cow farts, so this seemingly silly idea could actually make a big difference:
That is comforting to be sure, but do Santa's Reindeer Fart?

Oh The Cross Eyed Bear
When I was a little boy, my mother would talked a lot about the Cross eyed bear; whenever I would piss my pants or make a mess of things. I used to wonder why this bear was so special, and what he must look like. Yes folks when I got older I learned there was no Santa Claus or a Cross Eyed Bear. Instead one should not bare a cross openly, or to seek a spurious glorification in self abasing; in order to put on an air of righteousness.
Friendships and gardening have much in common. There is much joy in producing a bountiful crop. One must plant and cultivate your seeds wisely. I am fortunate to find myself in an orchard of well established fruit bearing trees. I like BC much better than Facebook. It takes a lot of work to make a fruitful garden out of a weed infested jungle, where I have new friends I know nothing about. Like young seedlings, new friends require much more attention, unless they are like an old soul they will quickly dry up and wither away. And remember we will always have the weeds, but there are some beautiful flowers hiding among the weeds. You old souls, know what to look for.
I will learn to deal with what G-d gave me, and not bitch anymore about having too many seeds in my garden.

Who's Your Friend?
Almost everyday, the list of people wanting, or declaring themselves to be my friend keeps growing . Some are genuine and sincere, while others seem to me like Amazon Headhunters. They are the ones that seem to collect friends like trophies to hang on their walls. I understand this kind of thing can be good politics, but I don't expect any of them will desire to shake my hand anytime soon. Still, I have yet to reject an offer of friendship. Though I question my ability to be a true friend to so many remarkable souls, and if one day, I were to fall in love, finding myself engulfed in torrid passion; would I be able to serve all my mystery friends, or lose everything to blind lust? Well the truth is, electronic friends are as expendable as simply turning off your computer. For most of us, real people and real events take up most of social life. Being a friend to the Internet, is a bit like being a ghost, we can make a lot of noise, but for the most part, we lack the ability to become physical beyond the picture screen of a monitor.
Perhaps I'm not keeping up with the times, and value this kind of friendship more than I should, I seem to be blessed with only highest caliber of people as my friends. I feel guilty whenever I fail to give them the proper attention they deserve, or lose track of them completely. I'm not sure how this will all work out, but there is no place for me to run, I will always be part of this cyber world. With each and every one of you, as my brothers, and sisters.
As a friend, you may have to hit me over the head a time or two, but I will do my best to keep up, if I fall behind,( and you know I will), remember to come and get me. Be you an old or new, a friend is a friend; you are never alone, when you have my head, and can always talk to me.
I wish you all happy holidays!
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

Life's Moments
Life's changing every moment
Life is now a shade
Life is now sunshine
Every moment on earth
Live life to the fullest
Whatever time you have is yours
For tomorrow might never come
Someone to love you with all their heart
Is difficult to come by
Should there be someone like that
They are the one for you, be sure
Their hand, you must take
For all you know, tomorrow might never be
In the realm of your eyes
Should someone get close to you
Try a millions times to control your crazy heart
But it shall continue to beat wildly
But think it over
This moment, this legend
For it might not exist tomorrow
And if you feel like you can't carry on
Your heart grieves and your eyes cry
That which has to happen is happening
Forget about it
For no trace of this may remain tomorrow
Every moment here
Live life to the fullest
This is the moment, for tomorrow may never be
Who knows what tomorrow may hold?

Future of Earth
We're headed into a deep world wide economic depression that will make the 1930's era depression look like a walk in the park. Large foundations, such as the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The Packard Foundation, and many others, derive their grant-making power from endowment income.
The meltdown of the financial market means that these endowments have nowhere to run for cover. The crisis has gotten to them and, by consequence, to the organizations they support. Science the week of(7 November 2008) the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has lost over $3.6 billion from January to September alone. The Nature Conservancy, a frequent partner and co-financier of GEF biodiversity projects, has announced a 10% cut in its budget, and began to lay off staff.
Reportedly, their international programs will suffer most. TNC is financially the largest of the international environmental NGOs, and there is no reason to believe that others in its category won’t be experiencing similar challenges. This is bad news for some of GEF initiatives, as international NGOs such as TNC, World Wildlife Fund, Conservation International, Wildlife Conservation Society, among others, have been providing co-financing and technical resources to many projects. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) published a report in 2006 that documented the plunder of natural resources by human activity and warned that the globe itself could be outstripped in its capacity to support life, rendering the earth extinct in under 50 years. Based on scientific data collected from across the globe, it revealed that more than a third of the natural world has been destroyed by human activity in just over the past three decades. In a soon to be desperate and hungry world, how are we going to preserve our biological diversity as more and more irreplaceable life goes extinct? It is true man must eat or die, but at what cost? In our greed and lust for power, we have made a disaster of biblical proportions that may never heal itself. Alas to make things worse, there will be more wars. As always, deep economic downturns lead to riots, revolutions and brutal warfare. Is it too late now to stop the rain?
Humanity has been a very poor steward of all that's been given, and it is the Great Spirit's creatures who must pay the price.

How to Survive Total Economic Collapse
By WriterGig
"Is total economic collapse just around the corner? As the U.S. dollar weakens and the price of goods such as oil, grain and gold rise, many fear for the economic stability of the country. So how does one survive total economic collapse? The U.S. dollar is weak and it may be too late to save the finances of this debt-driven economy. However, it's not too late to learn some basic".
All I ever wanted was to be entertaining to you folks, and not to be your prophet of doom. But I love you people and I am not willing to let a single one of you suffer needlessly. This will be an exiting challenge for all of us to prove our grit, and compassion for one another. Do not worry, we will get through this together; worry never helps a thing, and will only make you sick.
Heidi-Lore’s Musings
"*I feel this is very important. The signs are already here, we are going into another great depression. Everything has consequences. Please prepare yourself now, not later".*
In the future, our faith and trust, will carry us through to victory over adversity.
"In many ways, not knowing what the future has in store brings out in us the qualities we need to grow. For example, it would have been difficult to commit yourself to certain people or projects if you knew they wouldn’t ultimately work out. Yet, it was through your commitment to see them through that you experienced the lessons you needed to grow. Looking back on your life, you would likely be hard pressed to say that anything in your past should not have happened. In fact, your most challenging experiences with their inevitable lessons may have ultimately brought you the greatest rewards. Not knowing the future keeps us just where we need to be—fully committed and in the present moment.

Experience Women; And FeeL The Power
I am blessed, I mean extraordinarily blessed, to have so many beautiful friends, and the best part, each and every one, is a brilliant and charming lady of the first order. "Each and every one a virgin! You don't believe me? Well, don't take my word for it. Go ahead- ask Helga!".....On second thought you better not. You see, one night I got a little tipsy, and I believe dear Helga may have taken advantage of me. Oooh Helllgaa! Like a little lamb to the slaughter, she led this inebriated fool off to her apartment for a cup of coffee or was it tea? It was an experience I could never tell mother about.
Outside it is winter. But here is a little mood music just for you girls, it will help heat things up a bit, and you may even dance off all that turkey and pie.
It's raining men
NEUTRON DANCE
You Shook Me All Night Long
I Feel Like A Woman!
Happy Campers
My friends all have excellent taste, and they know just what they want, ha ha,too bad it is not me.

Love in action
The proper function of man (or a woman)is to love, not just to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
~ Almost Jack London ~
Life should be love in action. That is why sitting still and not doing anything eventually leads to decay and disintegration of being. The dance of life is best experienced by connecting with others. The more loving a group of living beings is, the more they are connecting and interacting with one another. To connect gives us more energy and passion for the joys of life itself. Every activity that is presented in this world is for the purpose of making that connection between people. The Providence of life is the evolution of the ways that we learn to connect.
How many times have we heard that old commercial slogan, "Reach out and touch someone"? Yet the fear of rejection is so strong, it becomes tempting for many of us to set back and do nothing.
Live to love, and love to live. Is that not the answer?
Explore the power in the divine unity that is Love.

"Tzaruch shemirah" & "Hasof bah"
A fish spoke in Brooklyn. The event was in Jan 2003.
Do you not remember?
Everyone thought the carp was only joking, now we know better.
Many in the world were gripped in awe by what they believe to be a mystical visitation by a 20lb carp that was heard shouting in Hebrew, in what many Jews worldwide are hailing as a modern miracle.
Many of the 7,000-member Skver sect of Hasidim in New Square, 30 miles north of Manhattan, believe God has revealed himself in fish form.
According to two fish-cutters at the New Square Fish Market, the carp was about to be slaughtered and made into gefilte fish for Sabbath dinner when it suddenly began shouting apocalyptic warnings in Hebrew.
Many believe the carp was channelling the troubled soul of a revered community elder who recently died; others say it was God. The only witnesses to this mystical event were Zalmen Rosen, a 57-year-old Hasid with 11 children, and his co-worker, Luis Nivelo. They say that on 28 January at 4pm they were about to club the carp on the head when it began yelling.
Nivelo, a Gentile who does not understand Hebrew, was so shocked at the sight of a fish talking in any language that he fell over. He ran into the front of the store screaming: 'It's the Devil! The Devil is here!' Then the shop owner heard it shouting warnings and commands too.
'It said "Tzaruch shemirah" and "Hasof bah",' he told the New York Times, 'which essentially means that everyone needs to account for themselves because the end is near.'
The animated carp commanded Rosen to pray and study the Torah. Rosen tried to kill the fish but injured himself. It was finally butchered by Nivelo and sold.
However, word spread far and wide and Nivelo complains he has been plagued by phone calls from as far away as London and Israel. The story has since been amplified by repetition and some now believe the fish's outburst was a warning about the Americas demise from the impending war in Iraq. Many members of the city's Jewish community are now certain that God, troubled by the prospect of war in Iraq, has revealed Himself in fish form.
"Ah, enough already about the fish, I wish I never said anything about it."
Zalmen Rosen
"Two men do not dream the same dream," said Abraham Spitz, a resident who visited Mr Rosen's shop to observe the site of the miracle.
"It is very rare that God reminds people he exists in this modern world. But when he does, you cannot ignore it."
Some think the carp's voice is that of the reincarnated. Or, like the burning bush, the cloud, and the pillar of fire, God has spoken to men, from the mouth of a fish. But the fish story speaks to all Faiths, including pagan Muslims, and Christians; as well as the Jews. If the voice was indeed from God, Then this WILL happen as God has spoken. It will not return to Him void.
We have all heard of things equally as strange - the Koran verses that appear when a pomegranite is sliced open, the damp patch on the wall of a church which makes an unmistakable portrait of Jesus, the bagel that tumbles from the oven in the rotund form of a Buddha.
What is strangest of all is that humans have become so immune to wonderment, so sceptical of the spiritual, that God is compelled to move in ways that are not merely mysterious, but jaw-droppingly odd. We have forced God to be a fish.
Do you not remember?

What is strangest of all is that humans have become so immune to wonderment, so sceptical of the spiritual, that God is compelled to move in ways that are not merely mysterious, but jaw-droppingly odd. We have forced God to be a fish.

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin
Aho Mitakuye Oyasin is a simple yet profound statement. It comes from the Lakota Nation and means all my relations. It is spoken during prayer and ceremony to invite and acknowledge all relatives to the moment.
To most of us today, relative means a blood relation or another human in the family lineage. We have not been taught that an entity, other than human, could be a relative. Understanding this simple statement and contemplating it, could change your outlook on life forever. If you love and honor your relatives, you would be loving and honoring most of what is on this earth, if you lived by this meaning of “relative." What a different world we would be living in!
Sit with this statement, see the Truth in it. Everything is related because it all emanates from one source and has purpose. Truth can be found in Native philosophy, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, all belief systems, because they are all related. I have studied Buddhism and found Christ. I have studied Native philosophy and found Buddha. I have studied Mother Nature and found self.
Truth does not owe homage to humans. Humans owe homage to Truth.
Aho!
- Silver Wolf Walks Alone
"Aho Mitakuye Oyasin....All my relations. I honor you in this circle of life with me today. I am grateful for this opportunity to acknowledge you in this prayer....
To the Creator, for the ultimate gift of life, I thank you.
To the mineral nation that has built and maintained my bones and all foundations of life experience, I thank you.
To the plant nation that sustains my organs and body and gives me healing herbs for sickness, I thank you.
To the animal nation that feeds me from your own flesh and offers your loyal companionship in this walk of life, I thank you.
To the human nation that shares my path as a soul upon the sacred wheel of Earthly life, I thank you.
To the Spirit nation that guides me invisibly through the ups and downs of life and for carrying the torch of light through the Ages. I thank you.
To the Four Winds of Change and Growth, I thank you.
"You are all my relations, my relatives, without whom I would not live. We are in the circle of life together, co-existing, co-dependent, co-creating our destiny. One, not more important than the other. One nation evolving from the other and yet each dependent upon the one above and the one below. All of us a part of the Great Mystery".
"Thank you for this Life".
Who hath the courage to strip themselves of the vain dogma of man's religions, and walk naked down life's pathway with the Creator?

Do your Beliefs Reflect Reality or Create It?
"The answer to the question is realized in understanding the concept of objective and subjective reality and the difference between the two. Most people believe that objective reality is made up by the physical laws that govern the universe. Law of gravity, thermodynamics, electromagnetism are some of those laws. But the truth is that even the physical laws themselves are governed by the higher laws of reality".
"Quantum physics states that everything in the most minute level is actually pure energy that is conscious, intelligent and living. This energy is directed and governed by consciousness itself. Therefore the physical laws of the universe are actually governed by the mental laws of consciousness. The physical is ruled by the spiritual".
"Now although we know that mind rules over matter, that does not suffice to say that we can go ahead and attempt to defy the law of gravity by jumping off a cliff just for the fun of it, without a real and strongly justifiable purpose of doing so. This is where some people misunderstand the truth and why they go and do stupid things which land them in undesirable consequences".
"The physical laws of the universe are not governed by the mind of a single individual alone but by the universal mind. The universal mind is the infinite intelligent consciousness of God which is connected to the minds of every single living thing in the universe. It is the universal mind that determines whether a physical law of reality is subjugated by the mind of an individual or not".
Alas, man still clings to the primitive ideas of his ancestors. He fights and dies over the limited view of reality he perceives as a mix of holy, and unholy. When all of creation is holy, it is the natural nature of man to fear what he does not have the ability to understand, or comprehend that God is absolute and is omnipresent in all things.
From ignorance, and our lack of knowledge, our fears grows till we learn to hate all that seems contrary to our faith. This is why there are those that you will find in almost all religions, who in the name of God, seek to kill or destroy each other, and all things of divine nature, they fail to understand. As evident, even the well meaning author has been tainted by his pagan beliefs. It goes to show how difficult it is to free one's self of the false doctrines of tradition.
Many traditional doctrines are founded on false teachings which invokes fear for the sake of power and control. For example the fear of not pleasing God and suffering for an eternity. Hence, their entire teachings are fear-based and not of love. Yet because God is everything, and has no need of religion. You can find Him wherever you may be devoutly seeking God with an open heart. Be it a temple, church, or a musty closet. Love is the key to what you seek.

Zitkala-sa (Red Bird),
Gertrude Simmons Bonnin, Zitkala-sa (Red Bird), was an extraordinarily talented and educated Native American woman who struggled and triumphed in a time when severe prejudice prevailed toward Native American culture and women. Her talents and contributions in the worlds of literature, music, and politics challenge long-standing beliefs that the white man's culture is good, and Native Americans are sinful savages. Bonnin aimed at creating understanding between the dominant white and Native American cultures. As a woman of mixed white and Native American ancestry, she embodied the need for the two cultures to live cooperatively within the same body of land. Her works criticized dogma, and her life as a Native American woman was dedicated against the evils of oppression.
Though most noted for her literary and political genius, Bonnin was also an accomplished violinist and even won a scholarship to study at the Boston Conservatory of Music. As a writer, she adopted the pen name "Zitkala-a" and in 1900 began publishing articles criticizing the Carlisle Indian School. She resented the degradation the students were subjected to, from forced Christianity to severe punishment for speaking in native languages. She was criticized for this at the time because many felt she showed no gratitude for the kindness and support that white people had given her in her education.
Of her literary works, Bonnin's "Why I Am a Pagan" perhaps best explains her religious beliefs. It was first published in the Atlantic in December of 1902, a time in which society was accustomed to and expectant of Native American essays about conformations to Christianity. Coupled with a chapter - "The Big Red Apples" - from Impressions of an Indian Childhood, the essay makes a case against traditional and religious Christianity. The two works are fascinating, and the dynamic they form expresses the indignations suffered by the Native Americans at the hands of Christians.

Talking Back to Civilization By Frederick E. Hoxie
"LONG before I ever heard of Christ, or saw a white man, I had learned from an untutored woman the essence of morality. With the help of dear Nature herself, she taught me things simple but of mighty import. I knew God. I perceived what goodness is. I saw and loved what is really beautiful. Civilization has not taught me anything better!"

Seventeen
Love is always seventeen: by David Gates
The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance. Love and wisdom are synonymous. Only those who are wise can be truly loving. The love of money can be the root of all evil. The love of anything can be the root of all evil. People would steal, kill, destroy, cheat, lie and commit all kinds of evil in the name of love. On the other hand, love can also be the root of all good. What determines whether the love is the root of good of evil is wisdom. Love with wisdom is the root of good. Without wisdom it is evil.
Truth and love are one. Some people place love as of higher importance than truth. They are being ignorant and can never attain the fullness of love. If there was an order of which comes first in the divine hierarchy of things, then it would be truth. Because Logos is the foundation of all existence. When you seek truth, you will know love. When you seek love, you may not find truth. Because truth stands by itself whereas love needs truth for it to be true. Truth and love are one, but truth is the preeminent to know.
I am not a stranger to you path, indeed I know by heart,

Two Wolves
A Cherokee Legend
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Here is the same story, but it is called "Grandfather Tells" which is also known as "The Wolves Within"
An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.
I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.
But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times." He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.
But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.
Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

A less Christian more more generic day of thanksgiving is needed.
American Indian protests against Thanksgiving began in Massachusetts in the 1970s. Every Thanksgiving Day, protestors gather at the top of Cole's Hill, which overlooks Plymouth Rock. This is in honor of Wamsutta James, who, in 1970, was the first person to demonstrate Cole's Hill and protest of the injustices that the American Indians had endured. Such injustices include the capturing and selling of American Indians as slaves; the robbing of their ancestor's graves; the theft of their winter food provisions; the taking of their lands and culture; and depriving them of their freedom. Since the day James' speech was given, Thanksgiving Day for American Indians has become the "National Day of Mourning."
Religion, is there any hope?
Joseph Dan argues convincingly that the very concepts of religion and theology as the academy understands them today are Christian concepts, derived from Christianity's early accommodations with Greco-Roman culture, resulting in a clear differentiation between the realms of church and state and between theology and philosophy. Judaism (and Islam), in contrast, have no such conceptual differentiation between the profane and the religious realms. Instead, these are cultures in which everything ideally participates in the holy, including the most mundane activities. Consequently, nothing lies outside the realm of religion; divinely ordained law governs literally every aspect of life, from the privacy of the home, to the marketplace, to the government, to matters of worship. Thus, the Jewish understanding of the non-Jew builds from a understanding of the self as a member of this holy community in contrast with an outside world that lives according to a different (or non-existent) relationship to God. (5) Modernity has challenged many aspects of this traditional identity, but one cannot understand this challenge without understanding.
From the days of the great Roman Empire; it has been the scared duty of the followers of Christ, to bloody everyone's noses including themselves, going as far as to slaughter millions of their fellow Christians. Though no Christian will claim him as such, Hitler was a very devout dark age type of Christian.
"In a Reichstag speech in 1938, Hitler again echoed the religious origins of his crusade. "I believe today that I am acting in the sense of the Almighty Creator. By warding off the Jews, I am fighting for the Lord's work."
Hitler regarded himself as a Catholic until he died. "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so," he told Gerhard Engel, one of his generals, in 1941.
There was really no reason for Hitler to doubt his good standing as a Catholic. The Catholic press in Germany was eager to curry his favor, and the princes of the Catholic Church never asked for his excommunication. Religions encourage their followers to hold authority in unquestioning respect; this is what makes devout religionists such wonderful dupes for dictators.
When Hitler narrowly escaped assassination in Munich in November, 1939, he gave the credit to providence. "Now I am completely content," he exclaimed. "The fact that I left the Burgerbraukeller earlier than usual is a corroboration of Providence's intention to let me reach my goal." Catholic newspapers throughout the Reich echoed this, declaring that it was a miraculous working of providence that had protected their Fuhrer. One cardinal, Michael Faulhaber, sent a telegram instructing that a Te Deum be sung in the cathedral of Munich, "to thank Divine Providence in the name of the archdiocese for the Fuhrer's fortunate escape." The Pope also sent his special personal congratulations!
Later the Pope was to publicly describe Hitler's opposition to Russia as a "highminded gallantry in defense of the foundations of Christian culture." Several German bishops openly supported Hitler's invasion of Russia, calling it a "European crusade."

Growing up
My lame attempts at humor sometimes gets the best of me. I'm always digging a hole that I have to try and write myself out of.
I should grow up and quit writing like I'm still in high school, where my little news paper often got me a ticket to the Principal's office.
I need to find the proper balance it is good to be funny, but by what measure? And not by sacrificing all credibility.

I could Scream!
A picture is worth a thousand words so it is said, but only if someone cares to see it. I was shocked to learn not even my very first contact Caren; remembers what I look like.
Last year I paid over five hundred dollars for a new camera phone so I could send pictures to a special friend, then she quit talking to me! At least I had a nice phone, until someone stole it out of my office. Last month my brother gave me a new camera, I've been fooling with it for weeks now and have come to the conclusion that the damn thing is broken! No wonder my dear little brother was so generous, Ha, the cheap bastard.
Well at last I am pleased that there is someone really wants to know what I look like, and those ancient pictures I gave to Dave will never do. So I'm off to buy a new camera.

What is a real friend?
Is it someone you can call at three in the morning, to come get you out of jail, or maybe it is someone who will come sit with you when you are sick? Are friendships characterized by tolerance of under benefiting and need-based helping or do they conform to the logic of give and take? Biologists and social scientists differ in their concept of friendship. Most biologists conceive of friends as social tools to achieve fitness-related benefits. In contrast, most social scientists? definitions of friendship stress concern for each other?s well-being and a willingness to help each other without expecting repayment. These different views might reflect a real difference between human and non-human friendships as a consequence of different selection pressures. Most of our friends are human, and unlike dogs; at some point they will let you down. This is when understanding and forgiveness become necessary. As unpleasant as that may sound, we the strong must forgive those who are weak, or we risk becoming weak ourselves.
"The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget". - Thomas Szasz

From a Distance
Three Dog Night said it well: One can be The loneliest number. For most of us, the desire to connect with others is a powerful force. Strong attachments with others not only make us happier, they also can make us healthier and help us to live longer. What do we live for? Nothing in life is as important as loving relationships!
I marvel at the fact that it is possible to have a solid friendship without ever speaking to one another. I can't be every one's friend, but I will try.

It Hurts Like Hell
Love sick fool, I know it hurts, you think that I have not been down that road a few times myself? Well think again. I never wanted to alarm you, but my heart had perceived that the most grievous tragedy of your life, created a fathomless vacuum in the center of you world.
I did my feeble best to embrace and comfort you. For I knew you could be heading for disaster, and even greater heartache. I did the best that I could under the restrictions, that so hindered my efforts to be a true friend. I wanted share with you my empathy, and help to calm your anguished spirit. I have no trouble seeing into the hearts of men, and I clearly saw the danger. Dear one, you were suffering from anxiety, very lonely, and in other words, you were in an extremely vulnerable state of mind, when you were seduced by that fake shadow of a man. I know all too well, the relentless power of infatuation. You were helpless and so lost in love that you were beyond any ones ability to warn you of the danger.
So now you know how it feels to be me:
I hate writing so generic like this, much like you my friend, it puts severe limitations on my ability to express my true feelings, but in order to preserve your anonymity, I can say little more, except:
Welcome to the club kid.
I got my face back, and in my eyes, so have you!
One has not truly lived, until they have been a Fool for the sake of LOVE!
