Blessed Be The Bridge Builders

Bridge builders help others not for personal gain or credit, but simply because it's the right thing to do. They don't build bridges for the sake of some religious dogma, or mere recognition; they build because it's in their heart to do so.

Bridge builders care more than others think is wise, risk more than others think is safe and expect more than others believe is possible!

If you're a bridge builder my congratulations and thanks to you, the world is a much better place because of the difference you make in the lives of others.

The Bridge Builder
An old man going a lone highway,
came at the evening cold and gray,
to a chasm vast and deep and wide.
The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
The sullen stream had no fear for him;
but he turned when safe on the other side
and built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man", said a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting your strength with
building here; your journey will end
with the ending day. You never again
will pass this way. You’ve crossed the
chasm, deep and wide, why build a
bridge at evening tide?"

The builder lifted his old gray head;
"Good friend in the path I have come",
he said, "there followed after me today
a youth whose feet must pass this way.
This chasm that has been as naught to me,
to that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim.
Good friend I am building this bridge for him!"

Hi Walt,

Isn't t scary that two bloggers who have never ever met can blog on the same subject on the same day???

Shows that we have the same concerns in our hearts.

May God use us to guide people to mend bridges and may we mend bridges too in our own lives.

Blessings to you and yours.

No dear one, you only wish to have the same freedom as men. You are my example of an ideal woman, one who has the power of love at her command, and is not about to be stereotyped as a traditional subservient to the vain desires of men.

Hello My Friend,

I haven't been around lately, under the weather for a while. I knew I had to come here after writing a new post. Your blog always quiets my demons especially after I write. Thanks much for your mental refuge.

Regards,

Joseph
