It pains me to post the following blog article, because the special few who read my blog, come here to be uplifted, and not to be traumatized by more bad news. I have doubts myself this Will be of much help to anyone. Yet I remember stifling my warnings about the collapsing economy, because it was making me very unpopular, even with my kinfolks, who lost almost a million dollars in the stock crash. For some; you my wish to stop reading at this point. I have no way of knowing how true this is; but it does not look good.

On 23 rd April 2009 the world began to become aware of a very strange new version of swine flu H1N1 in Mexico with limited cases in Texas and California. By the morning of the 24th of April, we began to hear that there were hundreds of sick and 20 or so dead. By late in the day, we have learned that over 1,000 are now reported ill and over 60 are reported dead. There are solid reasons to suspect that this new Mexican Swine Flu is NOT a naturally occurring event but instead is an Advanced Biological Warfare recombination DNA genetically engineered virus.

Here is what we know of the virus so far. This virus has already gone international having crossed the border from Mexico to America. All schools in Mexico City have been canceled, millions of students told to stay home due to Mexican Swine Flu. Sick victims of this strange new virus are currently reported in California and Texas. Over 60 deaths reported in Mexico (could be substantially higher considering the state of Mexican health care and reporting).

Young healthy adults seem to be the most at risk. This is similar to the deadest killer flu in history, Spanish Flu in 1918. Most if not all nations with advanced biological warfare programs have been interested in recreating the Spanish Flu DNA sequence and several are reported to have done so.

The new Mexican Swine Flu has elements of DNA from the following: avian flu, human flu Type A, human flu Type B, Asian swine flu, and European swine flu. A strange combination never seen before and having less than 1/10% chance of being a natural event. Human and animal viruses from four or more continents suddenly recombine in a new flu during a non-flu season that spreads from human-to-human with a 10% fatality rating.

Over 1,000 reported infected in Mexico; true rate may be much higher. Mexico City seems to be the epicenter of the new virus. Mexico City has 20 million citizens, most terribly poor. Mexico City is notorious for its poor sanitation and public health. "Don't drink the water" has been the byword in Mexico City for decades. It is the perfect breading ground for an explosive growth of this new killer virus. Mexico City has closed all schools, public gatherings, public buildings. People are wearing medical masks on the streets. The government has announced a massive new emergency swine flu vaccination program that will be, at best, either totally non-effective or of very limited effect, and could be, at worst, a deadly option for patients. It is thought that the authorities are trying to contain public panic by announcing the vaccination program.

Both the World Health Organization and the US CDC (Center for Disease Control) have announced, today/24th April, that they are 'very concerned' about a global pandemic developing out of this new disease. Based on advanced biowargaming projections, it is already too late to stop the global spread of this new killer disease. Based on the three waves of Spanish Flu, the latter ones being more lethal, fatality rates may range from approximately 10% to 40% or so in later waves. More people could die in America, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and globally from Mexican Swine Flu than died in World War II.

This new flu is a lab created advanced biological warfare DNA genetically engineered virus that either: (1) Escaped accidentally from a lab; or (2) was deliberately released by a nation or non-state organization or a well-trained individual.

If there is a positive side to this coming global disaster, it may force governments to quickly come to grips with containing advanced biowar attacks. This is of considerable short term importance as Israel is apt to attack Iran by no later than mid-July 2009. The Iranians, having hired a large number of key ex-Soviet advanced biowar scientists 18 years ago and having spent billions on their asymmetrical MAD (mutually assured destruction) counter-force, are expected to respond to any significant attack on Iran with a biowar attack on Israel, North America, and Europe using in-place agents and dozens of genetically engineered viruses, many with very high projected kill rates.

This event is an advanced biological warfare event. It is far more important than 9/11 and, by itself, could bring deaths in such magnitudes as to exceed the number of deaths from all causes in the Second World War.

Microbiologists suggest it is also possible to enhance antibiotic resistance of pathogens and their virulence, make them harder to detect, diagnose and treat. What else will Devil's toolbox of genomics bring?

There have been many suggestions: stealth viruses that could be introduced covertly into the genomes of a given population, and then triggered later by a signal, ‘designer diseases’, and bio-warfare agents in agriculture such as the Fusarium used against drug plantations in Colombia and elsewhere.

The human genome sequence is well on its way to completion. There could be misuse of large scale databases containing information on specific populations, such as the human DNA ‘BioBank’ planned in Britain, similar to ones in Iceland, Tonga and Sweden. And DNA collections of indigenous peoples have been accumulating in university laboratories under the disreputable Human Genome Diversity Project.

Specific genetic variants of receptors for regulatory and signaling molecules could be targeted. There is also increasing potential for manipulating the immune system, already being done in the course of seemingly innocent research on viruses (see later). Another suggestion is to use inhibitory RNA molecules to switch off key genes in an organism, again, a procedure employed in legitimate research in trying to understand gene regulation and the development of the simple worm, C. elegans.

In agriculture, the rice genome sequence drafts have just been announced, which will serve as a ‘rosetta stone’ to eventually unravel the genomes of all the other major cereals.

At the same time, complete sequence of more than 70 major bacterial, fungal and parasitic pathogens of human, animals and plants will be delivered in the next year or two. Hundreds of viral sequences are already available, and information on antibiotic and drug resistance, virulence, and toxins will increase the possibilities of creating new more deadly recombinants to attack humans and crops.

As the function of half of all genes in pathogens and the human and rice genomes are still unknown, genomics research will expand the possibilities for bio-weaponry. One application would be the targeting specific ethnic groups, if the human genome sequence has any genetic variants that can be used to absolutely define racial groups. Although most of the human genetic diversity is found within populations. However it will be wrong to rule out this possibility.

The threat of biological warfare is real, and genetic engineering and genomics have the potential to greatly increase its scope.

While I doubt we are witnessing the final genocide of the Native American peoples, this new killer bug seems to be hitting this ethnic group the hardest, and that may place my kinfolk at a higher risk.

Contrary to general belief, there is little or no effective defence against biological weapons. Events following the anthrax attacks have shown up huge inadequacies in coping with bio-warfare.


I pray this is not so, there are only a few nations that have this kind of ability to do such a horrendous crime to humanity. If a smoking gun is found it could be the start of world war III.

The Legend of the First Woman

For a time the man was very happy on the Earth. He roamed around and ate the fruits and berries and he visited the animals and he saw all his homeland. There was much to learn and the Earth was beautiful. But before long the man grew discontented and he became very unhappy. He didn't know what this disease was, but it was a disease we still have, he was bored.

When he got bored, he used his mind and strength differently. He shot arrows at the deer without really needing to. He picked the plants and didn't use them. He tore up the animal's dens just to see if he could do it. And soon the animals became concerned about the new creature.

The animals called a council meeting to try to determine what to do. They said they thought this creature was supposed to have respect for other creatures, that he was given a mind. A little insect said, "Wait, you haven't thought this out. The Great One made him; let's ask him what to do." This seemed to be a good idea. They called to the Great One to help them with the new "superior" creature.

The owl said, "You told us the man had a mind and he is to respect us." The deer said, " I don't want to be disrespectful, but you told us the man would need more of us deer than any other animal. If he keeps killing us like he is now, very soon there won't be any deer left."

"Oh," said the Great One, "thank you, thank you. I had not thought about something I left out in this man."

The bear said, "Look at him right now. He's lying out in the sun with his face up. No animal will sleep right out in the open. We all know to go into a private, guarded place to rest."

The Great One said, "Yes, there is something missing because I was in such an excited hurry to make him. But I know now what is missing."

"Stand back" he said. He made a green plant to grow up tall. The plant grew up right over the man's heart, up toward Galunti. It was a plant with long, graceful leaves and then an ear and a golden tassel. Above the tall plant was a woman, a beautiful, tall, brown woman growing from the stalk of corn.

The man woke up and thought he was dreaming. He rubbed his eyes and said, "This is not true. In a minute, I'll wake up and be just as bored as I was before. Oh, I am so lonely."

The Great One sort of kicked him in the behind. "Get up you lazy thing," the Great One said. "Be a man for your lady." Now no one had any reason to think this man was a mannerly individual. Recently he had certainly not been acting like a real gentleman. But we don't have to be taught manners. We need someone to expect the best from us and we use the manners the Great One has already given us. So the man got up and brushed himself off and gallantly offered his hand to the woman who came down from the stalk of corn.

The woman said, "No, wait a minute." The man didn't argue or huff. He just waited until she asked. She reached up and pulled two good ears of corn to take with her. Then she said, "I'm ready." Do you know why she wanted the corn? She couldn't have known yet that the corn would be an important food. She just knew that she had sprung from the corn and she needed to take something of her heritage with her.

The Great One remembered that although each man will sometimes need to be alone, each man will also need companionship to be his best.

Over a period of time, the man and the woman built a home where they kept the corn for planting. The next spring she planted her corn and it grew into a beautiful plant. It was probably the next year that she noticed a large bird who became sacred to the Cherokee, a large bird who stays usually on the ground. We call this bird a turkey. The turkey became sacred to the Cherokee because they could watch what he ate, and then they would know it was safe to eat.

One morning the woman noticed the turkey eating the tender corn. She knew then the corn was food and it was time to eat the corn. That evening she set a pottery pot of corn in the middle of her cook fire. She covered the pot with a curve of chestnut bark. When the man came in to eat his fish stew, she didn't tell him what she had cooked. She just pulled an ear of corn from the pot and pealed it back so he could smell it. He thought it was the best aroma he had ever smelled and he began to eat the first corn of the spring.

I would not be so primitive, if it were not for something missing in my life.

The Hidden One
A Micmac Legend
A long time ago, in a village by a lake, there lived a great hunter who was invisible. He was called the Hidden One. It was known that any young woman who could see him would become his bride.

Many were the hopeful young women who visited his wigwam at the far end of the village. Each was tested by the hunter's sister, who was called the Patient One. But years passed, and none succeeded.

In the same village lived two sisters who had lost their mother. The younger sister had a good heart, but the older one was jealous and cruel. While their father was out hunting, the older sister would torment the younger one, holding her down and burning her arms and face with sticks from the fire.

"Don't you dare tell our father," she would say, "or next time will be worse!"

When the father came home, he would ask in dismay, "Why is she burnt again?"

The older sister would answer, "The stupid, clumsy thing! She was playing with the fire, just like you told her not to!"

The father would turn to the younger. "Is this true?"

But she only bit her lip and said nothing.

After awhile she had so many scars, she was called Little Scarface. She lost her long braids too, when her sister singed them off. And she had to go barefoot and wear rags, for her sister would not allow her any skins to make moccasins or new clothes.

Of course, the sister made up all different reasons to tell their father. And he would shake his head in sorrow and disappointment.

One day, the older sister put on her finest clothes and many shiny strings of shell beads.

"Do you know what I'm doing?" she asked Little Scarface. "I'm going to marry the Hidden One. Of course, that's something you could never dream of."

Little Scarface bowed her head.

When the older sister reached the wigwam at the edge of the village, she was greeted by the sister of the hunter.

"You are welcome," said the Patient One. "My brother will return soon from the hunt. Come help me prepare the evening meal."

The two of them worked awhile, until the sun was nearly down. Then the Patient One led the young woman to the shore of the lake.

"My brother comes," the Patient One said, pointing along the shore. "Do you see him?"

The young woman saw no one, but she had decided to pretend. "Of course. There he is now!"

The eyes of the Patient One narrowed. "And what is his shoulder strap?"

"A strip of rawhide," said the young woman, thinking it a safe guess.

The Patient One frowned. "Let us return to the wigwam."

They had just finished making the meal when a deep voice said, "Greetings, my sister."

The young woman jumped in surprise. She stared at the entrance but saw no one.

"Greetings, my brother," replied the Patient One.

As the young woman watched with wide eyes, a moccasin appeared in mid-air and dropped to the floor, followed by another. A moment later, bits of food were rising from a birch-bark tray near the fire and vanishing into an invisible mouth.

The young woman turned to the Patient One. "When will our wedding take place?"

The Patient One turned to her angrily. "What wedding? Do you think my brother would marry a liar and a fool?"

The young woman ran crying from the wigwam.

All the next morning she stayed in bed, weeping and sobbing. Then Little Scarface came to her.

"Sister, let me have skins to make moccasins and new clothes. It is my turn to visit the Hidden One."

"How dare you!" screamed the sister. She jumped up and slapped Little Scarface, knocking her to the floor. "Are you so stupid to think you can do what I couldn't? Even if you saw him, do you think he'd marry a pathetic thing like you?"

She sank back to the bed in tears.

Little Scarface sat huddled for a long time, listening to her sister howl and sob. Then she rose and said again, "It is my turn to visit the Hidden One."

Her sister stopped crying and stared in amazement.

Little Scarface went to her father's chest and took out an old pair of moccasins. She put them on her own small feet.

Then she went out into the woods. She chose a birch tree and carefully stripped off the bark in a single sheet. From this she made a suit of clothes, which she put on in place of her rags.

Then she started back through the village.

"Look at Little Scarface!" yelled a boy. "She's dressed like a tree!"

"Hey, Little Scarface," a young man called, "are those moccasins big enough for you?"

"I don't believe it!" an old woman said. "She's on her way to the Hidden One!"

"Little Scarface," called a young woman, "did you burn yourself and cut off your hair to look pretty for him?"

Ignoring their taunts and laughter, Little Scarface walked on till she reached the wigwam at the village edge.

The Patient One regarded the young woman with surprise, but she told her, "You are welcome."

Little Scarface helped prepare the evening meal. When the sun was nearly down, the Patient One led her to the lake.

"My brother comes," the Patient One told her. "Do you see him?"

Little Scarface gazed along the shore. "I'm not sure..."

Then her eyes lit in wonder. "Yes, I see him! But how can there be such a one?"

The Patient One looked at her curiously. "What is his shoulder strap?"

"His shoulder strap is...is the Rainbow!"

The Patient One's eyes grew wide. "And his bowstring?"

"His bowstring is...the Milky Way!"

The Patient One smiled. "Let us return."

When they reached the wigwam, the Patient One took the strange clothes off Little Scarface and washed her with water from a special jar. The young woman's scars disappeared, leaving her skin shining and smooth. A magic comb made the young woman's hair grow quickly to her waist, ready for braiding.

Then the Patient One opened a chest and took out a beautiful wedding outfit. Little Scarface had just put it on when a deep voice said, "Greetings, my sister."

Little Scarface turned to the entrance and stared at the magnificent young hunter. As their eyes met, she saw the surprise in his.

"Greetings, my brother," said the Patient One. "You are discovered!"

The Hidden One walked over to Little Scarface and took her hands in his. "For years I have waited to find a woman of pure heart and brave spirit. Only such a one could see me. And now you shall be my bride."

So they were married. And from then on, Little Scarface had a new name -- the Lovely One. For she too had been hidden, and now was hidden no mor

New LapTop Blues

My big ass computer is down, with 4 hard drives it is three computers in one huge tower, it seemed indestructible, but it had one weak link, the mouse. Something killed the little bastard. It worked fine until I downloaded the latest AVG. Now I am stuck with using this fancy mouseless laptop from hell, and it is driving me nuts! It seems to have a mind of it's own, and will jump around when I am in the middle of writing something. Like just as I was writing this; it jumped up and erased my title then posted it's self. As if the little upstart could not wait to tell the world that the king was dead. I miss the big guy, There are no games to play, and the sound quality of music on the LT sucks. Yet it did jump into a song I like very much, and I would like share it with a girl that I feel very close to. As we are both graduates from hell. And I was deeply moved by what I both heard and saw! A Nation of Assassins

It was Twenty seven years ago, one of America s secret warriors; who was also a highly decorated veteran of World War Two, Korea and Vietnam. entrusted me with secrets that for many years made me fear for my life, for he was no ordinary man. Indeed his misplaced patriotism made him a war criminal by any standard. As a high level C.I.A. field operative, free to Terminate with extreme prejudice, he helped to direct the infamous CIA operation known as the phoenix program, which tried to stop the communist movement in Vietnam. In 1971, William Colby, head of CIA in Vietnam, testified the number killed was 20,857. South Vietnamese government figures were 40,994 dead. CIA officer Ted Shackley managed (600 military and (40-50) CIA liaison officers) who were working with South Vietnamese officers in 44 provinces. Now mind you even though I checked his valid credentials; I have only his word that he was in the Dallis Texas rail yard when the President was assassinated. This man had proved his valor in combat many times, yet I could see fear in his eyes as he conversed with me in the lowest whisper about his dark past. Yes many times I have ask myself what was he doing with a team of C.I.A. assassins in a Texas rail yard on the day President Kennedy was killed? His only reply was that it was much to dangerous for me to know. However when he was drinking heavy, there were a few things that he would talk about.

* President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by a group of conspirators who were at the highest level. And that the officially accused Lee Harvey Oswald was just an innocent fall guy, and the junk rifle that is said to be his, had not the clip needed to hold the ammunition. He also said the bullet that killed Kennedy was not fired from an open window.

* The JFK conspirators were also behind the assassination of Kennedy's brother, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, several years later. (Manchurian Candidate?)

* Martin Luther King was assassinated because of his pro communist leanings, and opposition to the Vietnam War, not because of racism.

Happy Easter Every Bunny

May you be blessed by the fertility goddess, and may she bless me with a fertile woman! Our long history of creating gods and goddesses is only our primitive attempt to compartmentalize the Great Mystery. One cannot fathom the unfathomable.

If we could put aside all tradition, and seek in our hearts to know only the love and divine will of the Great Spirit; we would see all efforts to dress God in the vain dogma of religion is not necessary. This is why I can feel at home with all the religions of the world. because I know the one true and Living God works around our various religions, not through them. No doubt God's love is moving on you heart as you read this, do not be afraid my friend. Enjoy the moment, and say hello to the One who loves you the most. Then you will start to see all men as your brothers.

Internet Gibberish??

Love is an active process and way of living. Love is a way of thinking. Love is a spiritual path. If we are willing to risk opening our hearts and minds, we will find ourselves in a universe that we never knew existed. Binding our heart with others and finding Love's supernatural strength uncovers what is so precious about life. Love is what gives life its color and fills us with its meaning. It's what keeps us sane and feeds our soul. As we build a loving relationships we allow ourselves to love people for who they are, not in spite of it.

Never be dismayed at your own faintheartedness in pursuing love, and meanwhile do not even be very agitated by your own audacious acts. I am sorry that I cannot say anything more comforting, for active love is a harsh and fearful thing compared with love in dreams. Love in dreams thirsts for immediate action, quickly performed, and with everyone watching. Indeed, it will go so far as the giving of even one's life, provided it does not take long but is soon over, as on statge, and everyone is looking on and praising. Whereas active love is labor and perserverance, and for some people, perhaps, a whole science. But I predict that even in that very moment when you see with horror that despire all your efforts, you not only have not come nearer your goal but seem to have gotten farther from it, at that very moment--I predict this to you--you will suddenly reach your goal aqnd will clearly behold over you the wonder-working power of the Creator, who all the while has been loving you, and all the while has been mysteriously guiding you. Try to love your neighbors actively and tirelessly. The more you succeed in loving, the more you'll be convinced of the existence of God and the immortality of your soul. And if you reach complete selflessness in the love of your neighbor, then undoubtedly you will believe, and no doubt will even be able to enter your soul.

U.S. Financial Bailout Hits Taxpayers Hard

New York, April 1 (RHC)-- A new report issued in the United States says the cost of the financial bailout through direct spending, loans and aid guarantees has reached $12.8 trillion dollars. The estimate, released by Bloomberg News, points out that the figure amounts to more than $42,000 for every person in the U.S. and approaches the nation's entire economic output last year.

In related news, the Organization for Economic Cooperation (OECD) says that the global economy is in a worse decline than previously thought. The OECD says world trade will drop at least 13 percent this year.

Chief Economist Klaus Schmidt-Hibbel with the Organization for Economic Cooperation called the current crisis the worst recession since the Great Depression.

And in other economic news from the United States, the parent company of the Chicago Sun-Times and 58 other newspapers around the country has filed for bankruptcy protection. The Sun-Times Media Group cited the current economic crisis and hundreds of millions in back taxes stemming from when it was controlled by the jailed media tycoon Conrad Black.

Protesters March on Wall Street in Memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.

New York, April 6 (RHC)-- Thousands marched on Wall Street in New York City over the weekend, marking the 41st anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The protesters called into question the economic policies of the United States and paid tribute to Dr. King's work on behalf of the poor and dispossessed.

Leslie Cagan of United For Peace and Justice helped organize the protest. She told reporters that decades of bloated military spending have undermined the economic security of the United States. Cagan pointed out that Washington is "pouring hundreds of billions of dollars year in and year out into war and weapons of mass destruction and military spending."

Demonstrators referred to the legacy of Reverend Martin Luther King, saying that those billion of dollars should be used to reinvest in communities, build schools and create jobs. They said that if King were alive today, he'd call for an end to the bailout of financial institutions and raise his voice to protest the wars of aggression against Iraq and Afghanistan. The civil rights leader was assassinated on April 4, 1968.

In other economic news, newly released documents show Lawrence Summers, one of U.S. President Barack Obama's top economic aides, received nearly $2.7 million in speaking fees last year from several of the financial companies that have received government bailouts. Among the firms paying Summers tens of thousands include JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.

The documents reveal that Goldman Sachs paid Lawrence Summers $135,000 last April for a single speech. In addition, Summers earned over $5 million working one day a week at the D.E. Shaw hedge fund.

The blog promotes itself with the strapline “Police should fight crime, not fight the people”. Cellphone videos on YouTube range, for example, from footage and photomontages of the police breaking up protests to a police officer firing into the air unprovoked while breaking up a fight.

Southeast Asia is thought to be the hotbed of child prostitution. According to UNISEF, more than one million children in Asia including Thailand, Philippines, and India, have been sold to brothels or street pimps for sexual exploitation. In the meantime, ECPAT (Ending Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking), a nongovernmental organization, argues that the number of children involved in prostitution is much higher. ECPAT estimates indicate that 20% of 20 million of children in India alone are part of the commercial sexual exploitation network.

According to ECPAT, about 100 thousand children are forced into child prostitution in Taiwan. Child prostitutes are in demand in other counties too. Venezuela has around 40 thousand underage prostitutes; there are approximately 25 thousands prostitutes aged 12 to 17 in the Dominican Republic; Peru has about 500 thousand child prostitutes, another 500 thousand child prostitutes are in Brazil; Canada has 200 thousand child prostitutes. From 300 thousand to 600 thousand of 2 million prostitutes in the USA are children and teenagers under 18. Most of them are under the category of street prostitutes.

Explosions were heard near Madagascar's presidential palace on Monday, raising tensions in the crisis between President Marc Ravalomanana and the opposition.

Opposition leader Andry Rajoelina has been demanding Ravalomanana's resignation and calling himself Madagascar's de facto leader in a crisis since the start of this year which has killed at least 135 people and is crippling the economy.

The opposition is due to give its response to the president's offer of a referendum to end the crisis.

US Budget Deficits, we are looking not at a few tens of billions US dollar but rather something like 800 billion greenbacks for 2008 alone. To provide a perspective of what USD800B is like, the entire Malaysian Budget for the last decade (2000-2009) is only worth RM1,290.3 billion or USD368.7 billion – less than half of what the US 2008 Budget Deficit is. Still cannot visualize it? Imagine winning the Big Sweep (RM3 million) every month without fail for the next 77,778 years. Get it now? Imagine just how big a hole the US Government had dug for themselves and in the same process, for the rest of the world as well.

Because of these baseless funds used to finance their imports, the exporters from all over the world enjoyed more profits. Trade surpluses are evident once a nation exports more to a country than it imports from. When a nation earns more than it spends, the monetary value of its currency grows stronger and inflation creeps up as well. To offset this, more new local money is introduced into the system to balance things up a bit and to ensure that the value of its exports remain low and stable. This mirrors exactly what the US is doing, albeit for different reasons, but with the same consequences.

Come one fine day and the US faces an Economic Tsunami because there is only so much “unwarranted” money that the system can withstand before it breaks down. Well, that day has arrived and henceforth the credit crunch, and when the US economy goes downhill, all global economies follow suit. Domestic economist might say that the Malaysian economy is decoupled from the US economy and henceforth the impact will be minimal. BS! During those years of trade surpluses and high growth, the Ringgit became stronger. Bank Negara Malaysia (like all other central banks in Asia) had to keep it low to sustain the growth rate that was primarily propelled by exports. This is achieved by the introduction of new money into the Malaysian market. Now that the exports are no longer there, this “new money” is still floating around, fiat money not backed by gold, an almost exact scenario replicating the US economy. Will it affect Malaysians the same way it affected the Americans? Definitely so because the Laws of Economics follow the same principles no matter where it is applied and doubly so because BNM would have also invested in these American TS instruments – the major factor because US Dollars are the defacto international trading currency.

The ultimate conclusion is that there is no avenue of escape from the impact of the US credit crunch and its thereafter consequences no matter what anybody tells you. It is akin to a domino effect whereby the first toppled domino will take out the next in line and so forth. Malaysia might be way down the line but the effects will be encountered here nonetheless. It is just a matter of time. Subsequently, what are the consequences?

Admiral George Dewey, acting on orders from Assistant Secretary of the Navy Theodore Roosevelt, attacked and sank the Spanish fleet in Manila Bay. After the defeat of Spain, America now had stepping stones to the trade of the Orient as well as possessions in the Caribbean. To keep the Philippines, Americans had to wage a bloody and costly war against Filipino independence forces. It began in February 1899 when the Philipine Republic declared war against the United States. By its end in July 1902 casualties numbered more than 4,200 U.S. soldiers, 20,000 Filipino soldiers, and 200,000 Filipino civilians dead. This new imperialism was deeply influenced by popular theories of race which held that the different peoples of the world were not only culturally but also biologically distinct. In a misapplication of Darwinian theory, these racialists believed that each nation (and people) were involved in an unending competition in which only the "fittest" would survive. This conveniently permitted successful imperial powers to point to their conquests as proof of their own "fitness" and to rationalize their empires as altruistic efforts to bring the benefits of their "superior" civilization to their "little brown brothers," as President McKinley referred to the Filipinos".

India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh warned late last fall, “It would be a great pity if this growing support for open policies in the developing world is weakened” because of the crash. Singh understands that the risk of a backlash against individual freedom is far more dangerous than the direct damage to poor countries caused by a global recession, falling commodity prices, or shrinking capital flows. We’re already seeing this dangerous trend in Latin America. In Bolivia, President Evo Morales has openly crowed about the failure of Fuld’s Lehman Brothers and other Wall Street giants: The capitalist “models in place are not a good solution for humanity . . . because [they are] based on injustice and inequality.” Socialism, he said, will be the solution—in Bolivia, the state “regulates the national economy, and not the free market.” The leaders of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Paraguay, Venezuela, and even tiny Dominica to varying degrees align with these anticapitalist pretensions, all seemingly vindicated by the Crash of 2008. And it’s not confined to Latin America: Vladimir Putin blamed the U.S. financial system for his own populist mismanagement of Russia’s even more catastrophic crisis. A spreading fire of statism would find plenty of kindling already stacked in the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, Africa, and Asia. And there are many Western “development” experts who would eagerly fan the flames with their woolly, paternalistic thinking.

Look closely at the nature of a flame. It has two very distinct properties: it can burn, and it can illuminate. In combating Evil in the world, do we destroy it, do we burn it, or do we illuminate with God's divine Love, creating a greater light in the world to dissipate the darkness?

There are indeed real men of noble character, they are the ones who stand steadfast, in the face of adversity. Without the wisdom, and strong hearts of these gallant men, our society would face utter chaos.

Get Ready To Feed The World

Be Prepared: My old Scout Motto.

Anyone who eats should know by now that the price of food is going up, even the basics like beans, rice, cornmeal and flour are demanding more from the wallet with every visit to the market. Stock up on as much wheat, beans and rice as you can get your hands on, you can't have too much of these basic survival foods. Even if you never use it for its intended purpose, it can be rotated into your everyday meals, letting you eat for last years prices.

A good plan for stockpiling survival food consists primarily of economical basic food items: wheat, sugar and or honey, tomato paste, powdered milk, canned fish or Spam, beef or chicken bullion, and salt. From these few basic ingredients, a wide variety of foods can be prepared. The advantages of this plan is that these food items are relatively inexpensive, readily available, storage is simple and the wheat, sugar and salt will store indefinitely under proper conditions.

I have a feeling we will end up feeding hundreds, if not thousands!

Man in his folly has done an outstanding job of creating a nightmare in this world. Forgiveness?

Forgive and forget. Easier said than done. Who forgives who? How grave is the sin to be forgiven? These are the dynamics of human dignity--the sinner and the judgment. But it is practical to forgive for it will free the soul from impurities caused by other's insensitivity or in some cases, infidelity.

No person can be blamed if she or he does not easily heal if the wound was caused by an unfaithful lover. The human heart is the biggest part of man's physiological make-up which supports life literally and the essence of life, figuratively speaking.



Find a man who has no heart and that is in essence describing a man who does not feel for others or who does not care at all for the welfare of other people. His world is focused on his comfort zone and he would not go out of his way to fill the empty spaces of his social existence.


This brings us to question one fact, if those who exercise injustice against their fellowmen do not have a heart? They have hearts, as a matter of fact, but they do not use it for feeling life by knowing the condition of other people.


So, must we forgive them? Forgive them for they sin against the soul of humanity. Forgive them for they allow their own vested interest to engulf their morality. Must we always forgive? Is it necessary to forgive?



Yes. It is important for the soul to release the impurities caused by anger and pain. By forgiving the sinner, you free yourself. If the act is considered indefensible, let God be the judge to what is ought to be. Rest your case in His hands.



The forgiven sinner will receive a miracle cure for his sick conscience shall be healed. It also does wonder for the one who forgives for it is relieving to release the pent-up anger inside them. Both will experience a certain degree of improvement spiritually.

It may be easy to forgive but hard to forget. That is another story.

I want to be like goy Abraham, and come to my own understanding as I walk everyday with God. "According to traditional Judaism, G-d gave Noah and his family seven commandments to observe when he saved them from the flood. These commandments, referred to as the Noahic or Noahide commandments, are inferred from Genesis Ch. 9, and are as follows: 1) to establish courts of justice; 2) not to commit blasphemy; 3) not to commit idolatry; 4) not to commit incest and adultery; 5) not to commit bloodshed; 6) not to commit robbery; and 7) not to eat flesh cut from a living animal. These commandments are fairly simple and straightforward, and most of them are recognized by most of the world as sound moral principles. Any non-Jew who follows these laws has a place in the world to come". As for other laws, remember to love, and keep an open heart. The Great Spirit will lay upon your heart all that you need to know. We each must make our own deal with God.

I claim no religion as my own, yet I know in my heart that our Creator accepts the children of all religions; and so must I.

Him? "Him"?

No, there is no "him". I don't remotely believe or experience G-d to be separate from me- G-d suffuses everything. Everything is G-d. The pain, the blood, the joy, the delight. There is no question in my mind.

As for Job, who can stand here and say their story is akin to his? That notion is rather daunting and humbling. Perhaps it's just that we can relate. We may not be so extravagantly prosperous, but maybe we've known extravagant happiness and blessing and suddenly it is all snatched away, in ways we never imagined. Job's story is related so compassionately.

In that tale, the Satan, G-d's familiar, is directed to afflict the soul in whom G-d has tremendous confidence. We see Job as a man who mindlessly clings to ritual and doing all the right things that he thinks have brought him the great rewards of prosperity. Well, I am not sure how many of us can relate to that part. In fact, I think it is G-d's confidence in Job's core soul that allows Him to risk such material and emotional devastation on Job's life, even though Job simplistically believes right acts lead to reward.

It turns out that shaking a fist at G-d and standing his ground is Job's real style, his core nature and soul. In the face of everything, he finally declares: Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Or, "yet will I argue with Him".

I've observed G-d for quite some time, now. And rarely really reported on the phenomenon. I read Psalms and discover a pattern: that the Psalmists are always experiencing G-d and/or trying to get back to G-d and the experience. I discover another pattern in Shaharit, the morning service, that addresses an awesome encounter, a description of that encounter, and the desire to remain within that experience; and having had that encounter, to live in hope of it and of G-d's grace and favour, to be suffused with that supernal light which is hoped for, wished for, craved, longed for, and which you can't buy, bargain for or will. It's all about returning to G-d. Over and over again.

Sometimes, I feel as if I'm on a treadmill. The "getting back to G-d" treadmill. Crap happens. I turn to G-d. Crap happens again and I turn to G-d. Even when I think I'm being faithful, doing the right things, crap happens and I'm back to square one. Or lately, back to ground zero. I have to ask myself at some point, is this that damned Buddhist wheel of suffering? Am I not getting it? Am I not understanding?

And then Tisha B'Av comes along. I remember, once, reading Eicha, The Book of Lamentations, and fasting, all by my lonesome and being struck by the thought of there being no G-d, no cosmic meaning in my life. As I've mentioned before, the realisation filled me with utter terror, as if I were torn away...violently rent from the source of Everything.

Ask me if I am not relieved to have Tisha B'Av descend upon us this Saturday night? I may feel as if I'm on a treadmill, but it somehow brings relief, becomes a touchstone. I have so much to howl at this year, and Lamentations is as ground zero as you can get. I will grasp at any holy verses that capture the essence of our tender, vertiginous lives and the nightmares that petrify our dreams. They are as real as all the hope and glory, and they are as much sanctified.

No one can answer why bad things happen to good (or innocuous) people. Any answers I have ever read have always created a limited god, a god of our projection, a god of our personal understanding, touted as the god. No. There is only mystery, and perhaps a spark of great unfathomable love, if we are lucky. A love that encompasses the good and the bad, because, in the end, it is all good.

Feh. In my raging pain it remains cold comfort; I want my friend back as she was, I want some shred of remembered happiness with no cruel unabiding centre.

Love Supreme

Love is everything, it is only in the way, and how we define love that sets it's limitations.

As I perceive it, Love is the key to all of creation. That here in our universe, all living things and man, are not self-existing entities, but the artifacts of God, the Supreme Creator. We are all created by Him and to Him we will all return. Love, not knowledge (intellectual), is the bond between God and man. From God's love proceeds only what is good, and even when He allows us to experience the harsh disciplines of life, This kind of tough love is also inherently good. God's omnipotence is not merely infinite in time, but also in intensity. Most religions today all seek a higher good, when their pride and arrogance is not standing in the way. Religion is little more than child's game, that our Creator is more than willing to play along with us. Your heart, Your heart, Your heart, and the love you choose to feed or starve it with, is all that matters to the Master of the Matrix. I don't think the word (creation) really hit home with most people. Like how did something come from nothing?
We can't be all religions at the same time but it is important that we respect the faiths of others, like this traumatised son of the Great Spirit. Indian Boarding School Life has been a tragedy for so many, and yet we are all students, from cradle to grave in the divine school of higher learning.

Who are we to judge the faith of another, or crush a child's spirit in the name of God? I am not religious, but I wish more people would take those words to heart.

Could we be living inside of God? I wish I were this smart, but this only the research of other brilliant minds.

Isn't it amazing that scientists have finally had to admit that the design of the universe is so perfectly crafted so as to indicate intelligent design and yet they still try to avoid any explanation which includes the word God.

The multiverse theory has spawned another - that our universe is a simulation, writes Paul Davies.

If you've ever thought life was actually a dream, take comfort. Some pretty distinguished scientists may agree with you. Philosophers have long questioned whether there is in fact a real world out there, or whether "reality" is just a figment of our imagination. Then along came the quantum physicists, who unveiled an Alice-in-Wonderland realm of atomic uncertainty, where particles can be waves and solid objects dissolve away into ghostly patterns of quantum energy.

Now cosmologists have got in on the act, suggesting that what we perceive as the universe might in fact be nothing more than a gigantic simulation.

The story behind this bizarre suggestion began with a vexatious question: why is the universe so bio-friendly? Cosmologists have long been perplexed by the fact that the laws of nature seem to be cunningly concocted to enable life to emerge. Take the element carbon, the vital stuff that is the basis of all life. It wasn't made in the big bang that gave birth to the universe. Instead, carbon has been cooked in the innards of giant stars, which then exploded and spewed soot around the universe.

The process that generates carbon is a delicate nuclear reaction. It turns out that the whole chain of events is a damned close run thing, to paraphrase Lord Wellington. If the force that holds atomic nuclei together were just a tiny bit stronger or a tiny bit weaker, the reaction wouldn't work properly and life may never have happened.

The late British astronomer Fred Hoyle was so struck by the coincidence that the nuclear force possessed just the right strength to make beings like Fred Hoyle, he proclaimed the universe to be "a put-up job". Since this sounds a bit too much like divine providence, cosmologists have been scrambling to find a scientific answer to the conundrum of cosmic bio-friendliness.


The General Uncertainty Principle

This idea that if we would never be able to tell if we were living in a simulated universe would appear to have profound implications for science. We would never be able to tell if our observations were real, or merely simulated. This result can be summed-up simply in one statement which I'm calling the General Uncertainty Principle: We can never know anything for certain.

David Deutsch appeared well-aware of this drastic implication when he said: "From the point of view of science it's a catastrophic idea, the purpose of science is to understand reality. If we're living in a virtual reality we are forever barred from understanding nature." (quote taken from here).

Many scientists believe the simulated universe theory should be rejected because it fails Occam's Razor which suggests that the simpler of two theories should be preferred (if the two theories give the same predictions). On this basis, the simulated universe theory should be rejected because it gives precisely the same predictions of what we would experience if the universe was not being simulated (hence, there is no need to introduce the extra complication of the simulated universe theory).

But this type of objection matters not one jot. The unavoidable truth still remains: if we were living in a simulated universe, we would never be able to detect it.

This General Uncertainty Principle ("We can never know anything for certain") reflects an all-encompassing uncertainty about every aspect of our world. This all-inclusive nature of the principle means it has must enclose the existing uncertainty principles such as Gödel's Theorem (described on the Mathematical Universe page), and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle from quantum mechanics (described on the Quantum Mechanics: An Introduction page). The General Uncertainty Principle represents a much wider uncertainty about absolutely everything in existence!

128 killed in Australia.

Death toll soars as Australia bushfire devastates Victoria

At least 128 people are now known to have been killed in the deadliest wildfires ever to sweep Australia, officials have said.

Police and a Department of Sustainability and Environment spokesman in the state of Victoria gave the latest death toll early on Monday, but there were fears it could rise as emergency crews search more than 700 houses destroyed in the flames.

Many people are believed to have died in their cars as they tried to escape the fires.

Arsonists are being held responsible for starting some of the blazes, which are sweeping across an area of about 3,000 sq km across three states.

"These people are terrorists within our nation, they are the enemy within and we have to be increasingly vigilant about them," Mike Rann, the governor of South Australia state, said on Sunday.

At least 20 per cent of the fires in South Australia state were started by arsonists and another 20 per cent were the result of "stupidity or negligence," Rann said.

Arsonists were also relighting fires that had been brought under control, a fire authority official in Victoria said.

A Rose by Any Other Name

As Ludwig von Mises observed,1 Fascism, Nazism, and Socialism are varying versions of the same core conviction: that it is the sacred duty of popular government to prevent the emergence of profits by public control of production and distribution.

What distinguishes Fascism and Nazism from Socialism in economic theory is how they translate "public control" into reality.

For the socialist, it means outright nationalization-government ownership-of private business. In a socialist state, the government owns and operates the airlines, railroads, banks, phone companies, and any other business you can think of. Everyone is an employee of the State.

For the fascist, public or government control is just that-control, rather than nationalized ownership, via complete bureaucratic regulation of ostensibly private business.

As an ardent admirer of Marx, Mussolini coined the term "Fascism"2 for his brand of authoritarian, patriotic Marxism. Fascism operates under the principle of "might makes right," through the exercise of raw, naked governmental police power.

In America today, the increasingly rough-shod violation of constitutional rights by government agents in the name of "protecting the environment" or the "war on drugs" is an indication of how far we are proceeding in this direction.

Intellectually, fascism is far more dishonest than socialism, which at least has the courage to assert legal ownership of the economy and thus assume the legal responsibility for its functioning.

Fascism places the responsibility for the economy on business, which is rendered seemingly private, with the facade of private ownership. The result of both socialism and fascism is the same: the destruction of economic freedom, replacing the individual's choice of how to make a peaceful, honest living with state edicts. Fascism accomplishes this, however, more insidiously.

Instead of being a straightforward employee of the government, you and I are told that our lives and businesses are still private, while any attempt to act as such is proscribed by a myriad of regulations-until we are trapped and immobilized in Washington's web.

We become enmeshed in this web because it has been spun around us so slowly-strand by strand over many years-so slowly that we have barely noticed. We could call this slow spinning of the fascist web "Fabian Fascism."

(Advocacy of what became known as Fabian Socialism was in vogue in the early part of the 20th century, particularly among British socialists such as Sydney and Beatrice Webb and George Bernard Shaw. They argued that socialism could best be achieved by "not frightening the horses"; that is, not through immediate revolutionary action, but in small, incremental steps.)3 Since the gargantuan growth of governmental power in the United States has not been sudden, but slowly accumulative, we can accurately and aptly call the process "Fabian Fascism."

Manufactured Crises

Dictators have traditionally created external crises to consolidate internal power. People are then freely willing to trade freedom for security. The great discovery in recent times is that social crises can be just as effective as military ones. "Curing poverty," or a "war on drugs" has become the banner under which the government can increase budgets, create new bureaucracies, and obtain new powers over the people.

But there is a big difference between an excuse and a purpose. These excuses are simply convenient subterfuges to trick the American people into letting the Washington Oligarchy expand its power.

All of these crises offered one, and only one, type of solution to the alleged crisis: vast government programs at taxpayers' expense. If problems were actually solved, all these government programs and bureaucrats wouldn't be needed. Thus, the crises must be perpetual, never solved, always requiring another program, another intervention, more taxpayers' money, more authorities granted, etc.

The game is not to solve the problems but to use them to control people through regulations and subsidies, increasing their dependency upon the people writing and enforcing the regulations and providing the handouts. People who are dependent upon you are people who vote for you.

Democratic Fascism

The result is a form of fascist rule imposed upon a citizenry, not by a dictator who seized power by force, but by freely elected leaders. We could call it Democratic Fascism, whereby a people's freedom is not taken away from them by dictatorial force, but is voluntarily surrendered.

Americans have imposed the tyranny of Washington upon ourselves. By a patient Fabian strategy taking many years, the American people have been persuaded, unwittingly and almost unconsciously, to voluntarily chain themselves to their masters in Washington.

No longer innocently oppressed, America has become a nation of belligerent beggars, demanding with insufferable arrogance an endless cornucopia of government handouts, subsidies, and "entitlements," deferring the multi-trillion dollar tab upon our children and grandchildren.

This is, indeed, America's real drug crisis: the most addictive and destructive drug ever invented, industrial-welfare and special interest subsidies. Thus we have voluntarily taken upon ourselves the tyranny of our increasingly fascist state.

And much of the blame also needs to be laid on our silent pulpits. The same abrogation of responsibility that contributed to the Holocaust in Germany is evident in America.

I believe that our stewardship of our unique God-given heritage is one for which we will uniquely be held accountable.

Our Future

One of the most critical strategic assessments we each must make is regarding the feasibility of rolling back to a constitutional government.

If we have a government that doesn't obey the Constitution, we have an outlaw government-literally acting outside the law.

We men want our God to have a very large Penis and a biggest set of Balls to match. Sorry, God is God! And is often more of a Mother than a Father to us all.
