What matter...This is not the way it should all end. What matters now is how many lives we can save. No need to worry, it will only hinder our mission. This will be an event that our history has no equal, make ready my friends.Walthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13729069480739750609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27789620.post-9106231574261884122010-07-12T14:36:12.165-04:002010-07-12T14:36:12.165-04:00Walt, this whole disaster makes me sick and it'...Walt, this whole disaster makes me sick and it's another case of trust nobody, believe nobody! Its sad but true that big business, big pharma, and the food industries are out for the money and the government (I like your use of "whore") is sleeping with all of them.

I am certain this will have dire global consequences and will NOT just "go away". The toxicity from the oil and dispersents will show up in people sooner or later and a lot of people are going to suffer. This is just the beginning!
suZenSusan Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06755153568864508986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27789620.post-1928220156705027332010-07-11T02:24:37.485-04:002010-07-11T02:24:37.485-04:00My summary:

There is enough money here to shut up a lot of people and even push higher prices through.

- Don't expect sincere support from goverments or big businesses for alternative energy. There will continue to be fake claims of "progress, but slow progress".

- The current crisis began with the Bush Jr. Administration waiving the requirement for an expensive dead-man-switch valve for every petroleum well.

- This crisis is about much more than "America's coastlines". The dispersant and petroleum fumes are already coming inland. Seafood will be reduced and poisoned. The photosynthetic capacity of the ocean may be negated. This poison will flow into other oceans. The Gulf Stream itself may fail. The planet will certainly adapt, but we will certainly not.Rabidnoreply@blogger.com
